Avengers: Endgame are only now beginning to surface. For instance, WandaVision episode 4 revealed that Monica Rambeau was snapped and missed the death of her mother Maria, and episode 5 gave viewers more insight into S.W.O.R.D.'s real intentions.

Surprisingly, Wanda had already met S.W.O.R.D. before the events of WandaVision. In episode 5, Hayward showed security camera footage of Wanda breaking into their facilities and taking Vision's body in order to reanimate him and live a happy life with him in Westview. While this raises endless questions surrounding whether Vision is truly alive or dead, this line of thinking may have distracted many from another, vital detail.

Marvel Syntezoids Vision, Machine Man, and M-41 Zu Pele

Most importantly, synthezoids could be what the "sentient weapon" part of the S.W.O.R.D. acronym (Sentient Weapon Observation and Response Division) stands for. One of the first things Hayward told Monica Rambeau was that they weren't focused on the creation of sentient weapons, but Hayward's delivery of the word "terrorist" right after Darcy Lewis told Jimmy Woo "Hayward's a..." suggests S.W.O.R.D. could go the same road as HYDRA and pose as advocates of peace only to advance their secret agenda.

This hint also sets up other synthezoids from the comics. One of the most notable is Captain America: The First Avenger during the 1943 Stark Expo. Another influential synthezoid is M-41 Zu, who impersonated the goddess Pele and fought Aero and Wave, two elemental heroes from Jimmy Woo's Agents of Atlas.

The existence of multiple synthezoids could also play a role in the conflict of Iron Man armors, they would represent the overabundance of dangerous technology that has fallen in the wrong hands. A less grim alternative, on the other hand, is the introduction of Vision's family. Virginia, Vivian, and Vin lived with Vision in the comics for a long time after Vision broke up with Scarlet Witch, and also had a synthezoid pet called Sparky, who already had a short and tragic appearance in WandaVision episode 5. Unfortunately, the future doesn't look so bright for Vision in the MCU.
