Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War season one hasn’t been out already for a day and already a player has cracked the code of Warzone's Rebirth Island Easter egg and found the reward it's hiding. The update also began Warzone's integration of weapons from Black Ops Cold War.

Rebirth Island was one of the many things that Warzone players were looking forward to when season one was announced, despite being pushed back multiple times. Although the map is smaller in size, there’s plenty of new things to discover, as players have seen throughout the day of exploring the new season and the perks that have come along with it. One of which is the new Easter egg, which some players have already seemed to figure out.

YouTuber Geeky Pastimes posted a video talking about the entire completion process and giving a walkthrough for any player that wants to find the Easter egg themselves. The first step is to find a briefcase on the map, which can be tricky all of itself because they don’t have a set spawn where they show up. Geeky said that he often finds them in security. Once the briefcase is retrieved, the player sees three photos that will lead to three separate locations to find a code, however, each location is completely random. Once all of the code is found, the player can now open the yellow door, which is found towards the southern point of the island. In there is a blueprint for a brand new SMG, which Geeky Pastimes showed on his Twitter page.

This seemed oddly impressive considering the season hasn’t been out for long and many players have been doing Warzone for hours at this point. What makes it even more impressive is that most of these spots are at completely different locations, so that means Geeky Pastimes had to do this multiple times when he couldn’t find them, even if he was killed, over and over - now that takes some serious dedication.

There’s still plenty that is unknown about this Easter egg and the find that brand new gun.
