Alternating between chronologies, audiences will be sucked into their past, present, and hopeful future.

The cast appeared ecstatic to be at the premiere, with Garfield even getting distracted by Pugh's stunning pink gown when the actor made her entrance. Superheroes collide, as Pugh is most well-known for playing The Amazing Spider-Man films. With several movies in various stages of production, he was happy to chat about roles both old and new.

We Live In Time Review: Florence Pugh & Andrew Garfield's Romance Will Happily Break Your Heart

What We Live in Time does so well is bring life’s moments — big, small, and often mundane — into focus while allowing us to enjoy them fully.

Screen Rant ed other media outlets on the We Live in Time press line at the Toronto International Film Festival to interview Garfield about his project with Luca Guadagnino and the potential for more The Amazing Spider-Man stories.

Andrew Garfield Believes There Is "Endless" Storytelling Potential For His Peter Parker

"I think you can always find another story to tell."

There have been some rumors about you and Toby maybe coming together for Spider-Man. Have you heard anything?

Andrew Garfield: The internet is a big place and I think there's a lot of people who will just say anything to get clicks. So you might have been duped, I'm afraid.

I know you just wrapped After the Hunt. What was it like working with Luca? Can you tease the project?

Andrew Garfield: Yeah. I love Luca. Me and Luca have been trying to make something together since I Am Love, 15, 16 years ago. We haven't been able to get it going, and I'm so happy that I got to finally experience his genius on set. It's brilliant. It's a powerful film and I'm really, really excited about it. The subject matter is really tender and important and I think he is telling a story that is going to be quite radical and will be challenging for people. Julia Roberts is the lead and obviously a full blown legend and lives up to that title.

On the same note as before, do you think there are still stories left for your Peter Parker to explore?

Andrew Garfield: I think it's kind of endless, what can be done with that character. Not that we should; not that we will, but I think you can always find another story to tell.
