The first trailer for Evan Rachel Wood as Madonna, Rain Wilson as Dr. Demento, Julianne Nicholson as Mary Yankovic, and James Preston Rogers as Hulk Hogan (with more surprise appearances surely in store).

Weird: The Al Yankovic Story was filmed in just 18 days, which had Radcliffe learning the accordion from the real Weird Al and calling the entire experience "insane." Radcliffe previously said that "wearing the Hawaiian shirt is a huge responsibility" which he didn't take lightly. Yankovic made a career of parodying big-name musicians, such as Michael Jackson, Eminem, and Madonna, with hilarious music videos that often became as big of a hit as the actual songs he was satirizing. The musician is also a well-known voice actor, working on projects such as Pete the Cat, American Dad!, and Bojack Horseman.

Now, Roku has shared the first trailer for Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, which looks to be anything but a standard-issue biopic. Radcliffe is seen for the first time on stage and performing, as well as high-fiving, break dancing, battling in what appears to be a sushi restaurant, and looking for every opportunity to use an accordion. It looks to be exactly the kind of biopic you'd want for Weird Al and Radcliffe appears to have had a blast portraying him. Take a look at the trailer below:

"Weird Al" himself hasn't starred in a feature since 1989's wild comedy UHF, but has shown up in live-action form for a number of different projects throughout his career, including a role as Nuge in Reno 911!, Uncle Muscles in Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! and a smattering of projects where he plays himself. Radcliffe, best known as Harry Potter, has taken on a bizarre set of roles since achieving fame with the Wizarding World franchise, starring in a variety of films that all seem to challenge his Potter persona, from Horns to Swiss Army Man to Guns Akimbo and, most recently, The Lost City with Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum.

It would feel like a disservice to make a Weird Al biopic and take it seriously and this trailer appears to capture the zany, wild, ludicrous, and brilliant persona that is Weird Al Yankovic. Radcliffe is a fascinating choice to embody Weird Al and he appears to have immersed himself in the odd world of the satirical musician to the point of it almost being satire in itself. Having Harry Potter play Weird Al feels almost too perfect for a biopic and that may well be the point. Weird: The Al Yankovic Story is set to debut this fall on Roku.
