Below Deck Down Under season 3, it was clear that there was a glaring issue on the exterior team. While Johnny wasn't that issue to begin with, his time spent with bosun Wihan Du Toit wasn't always positive. The pair were close during the charter season, but things eventually became tense.

As Below Deck Down Under season 3's cast has moved through the charter season, some have had more difficulty than others in the way they've operated between the technical side of the industry and the guest service side. Johnny, who's originally from Athens, Greece, had an easier time than some other yachties as he moved through the charter season, as he had a high-level of expertise. Though Johnny was moving through the season with a good head on his shoulders, things took a turn quickly when Wihan's difficult behavior got out of control, causing Johnny's temper to flare up considerably.

Johnny has made a major move after his time on Below Deck Down Under season 3.

Although Johnny was quick to make his mark on Below Deck Down Under, the majority of his time on Katina was spent working hard and making himself an asset to the rest of the crew. Throughout the early charters of the season, Johnny showed off in his ability to make himself useful and get things done. Working well with the rest of the team, even Wihan, Johnny knew what it was like to be working the exterior of such a massive superyacht and was able to fold in well with the rest of the team throughout the Below Deck season.

While he was good at taking direction and getting things done, Johnny could also step in to lead when it was necessary. As a yachtie with a decade's worth of experience in the industry, Johnny knew how to fall in line and tried to help in the best way he could as he moved through the charter season. There were moments of difficulty toward the end of his time aboard Katina where his boatmance with Alesia Harris may have caused him to stray from what he knew, which made it less surprising when Johnny was terminated by Captain Jason Chambers.

Johnny Owns A Boat Company In Greece

He's Enjoying Being His Own Boss

As Johnny has moved on from his time on Below Deck Down Under, things have changed for him in most conceivable ways. While it's clear that he enjoyed his experience on the show, Johnny was quick to understand that the life of a reality TV yachtie wasn't for him. Moving on to a new business venture, Johnny has started his own boating company called All Blue Yachting. Run by himself and his brother, Johnny charters yachts for locals and vacationers in his native Greece, showing them local sights and serving them delicious Greek delicacies as they sail through beautiful waters.

Revealing that he's moved on from being a deckhand aboard Katina to the Captain of his own vessel, Johnny has made a major move after his time on Below Deck Down Under season 3. While Johnny's boat may not be quite as large as Katina or a Below Deck superyacht, he's been able to bring the charm of his home country to a brand new business that caters to tourists and locals alike. Relishing in the relaxation and beauty of Greece, Johnny has been able to capitalize on what he knows and make a great business move for his career.

Johnny & Alesia Are No Longer Together

He's Dating Someone New

Although Johnny's boatmance with Alesia was a sweet relationship to watch unfold on Below Deck Down Under season 3, things changed quickly after he was fired from the crew. While Johnny and Alesia appeared to be making future plans, with Alesia remaining on board after Johnny was fired, it quickly became clear they weren't going to continue their relationship. Though her identity isn't known, Johnny shared on his Instagram after his termination episode that he was in a relationship with someone new, and happy with the way things were going. While Johnny and Alesia didn't work, he still found happiness.

Will Johnny Ever Return To The Below Deck Franchise?

He Could Work On Below Deck Mediterranean

After Johnny's firing because of his violent behavior, I think it was clear that Captain Jason needed to take action even if it wasn't his mistakes or difficulties that caused the issues on board. Johnny punching a wall wasn't a great look for him or Below Deck as a whole, but I think if his behavior were to change, he'd be able to come back to the franchise. I don't think Below Deck Down Under is the right move for Johnny, though. I do think, however, he could find himself successful on Below Deck Mediterranean in the future.
