Wayne's World breakout star, Tia Carrere, has had an illustrious career since starring in the 1992 comedy. Wayne’s World follows Wayne and his best friend Garth, as they host a popular TV show in his basement that gets noticed by a TV network executive. Wayne’s World was a huge success when it premiered. The movie, which only had a budget of $20 million, ended up being a huge success and making $183.1 million at the box office (via Box Office Mojo). Carrere also reprised her role as Cassandra in Wayne's World 2. In 1994, Carrere played Juno Skinner in James Cameron’s True Lies, a role that showcased her versatility as an actor.

The 2000s were a busy decade for Carrere. The actor had roles in several notable movies (The Hard Breakers) and TV shows (The O.C.). She played Nani in Lilo & Stitch, and went on to have a long career in voice acting, including roles in Duck Dodgers, Uncle Grandpa, Family Guy, and Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated. The talented actor also voiced video game characters in Saints Row and Saints Row IV. In the 2000s, Carrere added to her filmography by appearing in several more films. The O.C, In Plain Sight, Nip/Tuck, and Blue Bloods.

While Carrere might be known for her acting and TV roles, the actor has also had an impressive music career. Carrere has a few projects lined up. She has been cast in the Lilo & Stitch live-action remake, where she won't be reprising her role as Nani but will be playing a social worker, Mrs. Kekoa. She's also set to star as Madam Leroy in Waltzing with Brando. Seeing as Wayne's World was a huge part of her career, Carrere was asked if there was a possibility of a Wayne's World 3, the actor replied, You must be kidding. We’re all going to walk out on our walkers, and I’m going to come out in my muumuu from Hawaii, eating papayas,” (via Yahoo Entertainment).
