Today's Wordle shouldn't cause too much trouble for most players as it is a common word, but even the easier words can be trouble for some. Throughout all of 2022 Wordle has grown in popularity, making its way into people's lives originally through its social media sharing ability. Now, despite the downward trend of shares, Wordle has nestled nicely into many players' morning routines, opened up alongside emails and work bookmarks, it's the perfect way to start the day.
For those that prefer to make things a little harder, Wordle does provide a Hard Mode that can be accessed through the options menu. Using this mode players will no longer be allowed to ignore past clues and will have to utilize letters that have been proven correct. This also blocks off letters that have already been proven to be incorrect. Despite it being called the Hard Mode, many players find it easier to use this as there can't be any wasted guesses just to find an extra letter or two.

Today's Wordle Answer (May 15th #330)
The May 15th Wordle answer is YIELD.
Yield has a few meanings in speech, one could be an agricultural explanation of what a certain type of land can yield. The second meaning is to give way, often used on traffic signs to explain which lane has the right of way.
For today's starting Wordle word we used IRATE which provided the two incorrectly placed vowels 'I' and 'E'. Our second attempt was PILED, this gave us the correct position for 'I', added a new correctly placed letter 'D', gave us another incorrect spot for 'E', and added an incorrectly placed 'L'. With that solid choice for a second guess, we moved on to FIELD for the third guess which solidified the last four letters 'IELD' and opened up a lot of prospective words. Making a mistake on the fourth guess we tried SILED, this was obviously wrong since it mixed the 'L' and the 'E' up. Our final guess was YIELD which gave us the Wordle win in five guesses.
