February 23rd’s Wordle puzzle was relatively easier to guess but could still baffle players if they didn’t start with the right word. Wordle poses a random five-letter word for players to guess daily in six or fewer tries. While guessing the word can be easy or hard depending on the word for the day, it gets even easier to guess the answer if players are provided with hints or clues. It's worth pointing out that Wordle randomly updates the puzzle with a new word every day, making the puzzle addicting to solve.
Wordle does offer visual hints to players that could aid them in guessing the answer. To understand Wordle’s rules, players must know what it means when a box’s color changes to either green or yellow. If a box’s color turns green, that means the letter within that box is being used in today’s Wordle answer and is in the right spot. However, if the box’s color turns yellow, it means the letter within that box is being used in today’s answer but isn’t in the correct position.
Once players are done guessing today’s Wordle answer, they can share the results with other Wordle players on social media platforms. Players can share the results without spoiling the solution for other players and indicating how close they were to guessing today's Wordle answer. What’s neat is that Wordle players who have already attempted the puzzle can understand color-coded emoji boxes right away.

If players could not guess today’s Wordle answer in less than six tries, these hints might help players maintain their streak. These clues are akin to crossword puzzle hints and should be able to point players to the answer without giving it away completely. Here are some hints that might help players solve today’s Wordle answer:

Wordle 249 Answer (February 23)
If players were not able to guess today’s Wordle answer using the above hints, the answer they are looking for is TROVE. When trying to guess today’s answer, the first word we used was “BRAVE,” which revealed two letters being used in the right spot. For our second attempt, we used the word “DROVE,” which showed almost every letter being used in the right spot for today’s Wordle answer. Once we knew the four boxes' color turned green, it was easy to guess today’s Wordle answer TROVE.
