The March 11th Wordle could easily lead to a loss due to its common last few letters. Wordle is a once-a-day word-guessing game that has grabbed the internet's attention since late 2021 with its simple gameplay and excellent social media sharing ability. Players show off their scores and keep their streaks alive by guessing a randomized five-letter word.
Wordle is played on a 5x6 grid of squares, players begin with a single five-letter word and the game provides hints based on the correct answer. If a box is highlighted in green, the letter is correct and in an accurate position. If the box turns yellow, the letter is correct but in the wrong position. Finally, if the box is grey the letter is not at all used in today's word. These clues help the player discern the next guess in hopes of getting the correct answer for the day. Normally a player can use any five-letter word they wish, but Wordle also has a 'Hard Mode' which adds more stringent rules to the base game, and provides a bit more of a challenge.
Arguably the main reason for the game's popularity lies in its effective social media sharing ability. When a puzzle is completed players can copy and paste their results to any of their favorite social media platforms. Wordle uses small colored emoji boxes to show the results. This simple, spoiler-free version of the player's journey, combined with the ambiguity of the post itself, has rocketed the game into the mainstream as a perfect, short diversion for the day.
Wordle’s March 11, 2022 (#265) Hints & Answers
Some players may prefer to answer today's Wordle on their own and just need a couple of hints to help make it easier. For them, we have provided a few clues below, followed by the full answer.

Wordle 265 Answer (March 11)
If the clues didn't give it away, March 11th's Wordle answer is WATCH. For today's starting word we used ROAST, which provided two incorrectly placed letters. The second attempt was TAPED which helped cement in the 'A' and proved a few more letters to be wrong. The third guess was BATTY, this cleared the possibility for a double 'T' and set us up on the road to the correct answer. From here, we used MATCH, this left only the first letter, which could have been a number of things. We guessed CATCH incorrectly and finally got lucky on the sixth guess with the correct answer WATCH.
