April 19th brings another difficult Wordle word to players all around the world. Wordle is a once-a-day word-guessing game that gained popularity at the beginning of 2022 due to its simple gameplay and perfect social media sharing ability which keeps players showing off their daily scores. Many of the recent daily words have been causing players to lose their long-standing win streaks, but with a few hints, and the actual answer, anyone can get today's puzzle correct.
Wordle is played on a 5x6 grid of squares, players begin with a single five-letter word and the game provides hints based on the correct answer. If a box is highlighted in green, the letter is correct and in the right position. If the box turns yellow, the letter is correct but in the wrong position. Finally, if the box is grey the letter is not at all used in today's word. These clues help the player discern the next guess in hopes of getting the correct answer for the day. Normally a player can use any five-letter word they wish, but Wordle also has a Hard Mode which adds more stringent rules to the base game, and provides a bit more of a challenge by forcing players to use previously earned clues.
Today's Wordle Hints (April 19th #304)
Some players prefer to not be completely spoiled on today's Wordle answer and just need a little extra help. For those players, we've provided a few hints before the big reveal.

- Hint #2: This answer is similar to a lobby or a vestibule.
- Hint #3: Today's Wordle uses two, sometimes three, possible vowels.
Today's Wordle Answer (April 19th #304)
Today's Wordle answer is FOYER.
A foyer is an entrance hall in a building used by the public, especially at a hotel or theater.
For today's starting Wordle word we used ROAST. This gave us the correct spot for 'O' and an incorrect spot for 'R'. Assuming the word ended in 'ER' we tried LOPER as our second attempt. This proved to be correct and we now had the correct placement for 'O', 'E', and 'R'. This put us in a bit of a pickle with multiple options being available. Our third guess was MODER which was incorrect and provided nothing but a few more wrong letters. Finally, we got lucky with our next guess and got the correct Wordle answer in four.
