The April 26th Wordle word is quite common and used in many popular movies and television shows, but not often in normal conversation. Luckily though, there aren't too many different combinations with today's letters. As long as the vowels are guessed quickly the answer should follow. A good starting word is important in Wordle and keeping it consistent through the days helps out tremendously. Knowing exactly what to expect in a first guess and how to pivot from the clues given can help lower a player's total guess rate. Using starting words with multiple vowels is always a plus as well.
Today's Wordle Hints (April 26th #311)

Today's Wordle Answer (April 26th #311)
The April 26th Wordle answer is HEIST.
We were all over the place with today's answer. Our Wordle starting word was IRATE, which provided quite a bit of information with three incorrectly placed letters 'I', 'T', and 'E'. We attempted to shuffle those around a bit with the second guess, KITES. This provided more incorrect placements for each of those letters as well as adding an 'S' to the wrongly placed letters. Guess number three was STILE, which was a bit of an accident since we placed the 'E' back in an incorrect spot, but it did supply the correct spot for 'I'. This led to a long staring contest until the correct answer HEIST was guessed and gave us a win in four.
