Another morning brings another Wordle is a simple guessing game that tasks players with guessing a five-letter word within six chances. Each attempt will provide the players with hints based on the correct answer. If a highlighted letter is green, it is in the correct spot. If a letter is highlighted in yellow, it is in the answer but not in the correct place. Finally, if a letter is grey it means the letter doesn't belong in the correct answer at all.
Wordle gained popularity throughout the beginning of 2022 with its simple gameplay, once-a-day puzzle, and excellent social media sharing ability. After a Wordle is completed successfully players have the opportunity to share their journey on any social media platform they choose. Simply copy and paste the provided template and the game generates a spoiler-free version of the player's attempts using small colored emojis. These emojis littered the social media landscape and drew more and more attention to the game. Despite the many copycats that appeared shortly after the game was purchased by the New York Times, Wordle still holds dominance and is a staple in many players' morning routines or the perfect break for the middle of a work day.

Today's Wordle Answer (April 30th #315)
The April 30th Wordle answer is LARVA.
Certainly not a commonly used word, a larva is an immature form of an insect. For our starting Wordle word, we used ROAST. This provided two incorrectly placed letters, 'R' and 'A'. Our second guess was CAGER, which placed the 'A' in the correct spot and showed another incorrect location for the 'R'. Our third guess was MARRY which cemented in the correct place for the 'R' and gave us a lot more incorrect letters. The fourth guess took a lot longer, after staring at the screen for a bit we tried PARDI, which is an archaic word for indeed, and an absolute guess that we were surprised was an actual word. This only provided more incorrect letters. Finally, we guessed it right in the fifth guess with LARVA.
