EDITOR'S NOTE: This article is for Wordle answer #346; the June 1st Wordle answer is available now.
May 31st brings players the final they can always turn on Wordle's Hard Mode which is activated through the options menu. This mode will prevent players from straying away from previous hints and force the use of letters that have been proven correct. Using Hard Mode requires a little more critical thinking to solve the day's puzzle, but could actually help shave some guesses off the overall attempt.
Hard Mode or not, today's Wordle is fairly simple, there are not a whole lot of possible answers and once a few letters are figured out it should be easy for players to hit the correct one. Some puzzles are harder when they utilize similar endings, like a Wordle puzzle that ends in 'ED'. There are just too many possible answers and players can get stuck wasting all their chances on the wrong ones. This is really just another good reason to try Hard Mode, it makes repeat guesses an impossibility.

Today's Wordle Answer (May 31st #346)
The May 31st Wordle answer is MANOR.
Not the most common of words in normal conversation, a manor is a large house, generally, in the country. For today's starting Wordle word we used IRATE which gave us two incorrectly placed letters, 'A' and 'R', and a few wrong ones. The next guess was RALLY, this provided a few more incorrect letters and the correct spot for 'A'. We went with MARON for our third attempt, which provided everything we needed to get the correct answer in four guesses. Not too troublesome of a puzzle today, but that is what makes Wordle such an enjoyable game to play every day, you never know what you're going to get.
