October 27th's Wordle answer is yet another tricky puzzle to solve, as it features a repeating letter that players might not be able to identify right away. It's been a while since Wordle has featured a word with a double letter, as it usually throws most players off when trying to identify the correct position of letters. What makes today's answer even more difficult to guess is that it features only one vowel in the second position. However, if players use the right strategic words, in the beginning, they might be able to identify the correct position of at least three letters in their first three attempts.
Players who are unable to guess the answer right away will have better luck using relevant hints that lets players know the nature of the word. Many Wordle players prefer to use hints or definitions similar to clues in other vocabulary puzzles. These hints don't give away the answer but give players a more precise picture that might help them solve today's Wordle puzzle.

Today's Wordle Answer (October 27th #495)
The October 27th Wordle answer is CARRY.
While using hints does save time, players are encouraged to use Wordle's hard mode to solve today's puzzle. Since the answer contains a repeating letter, Wordle doesn't necessarily notify players about its existence with a different color hint. This is why this mode is preferred for solving such words, as it does not let players use confirmed letters in other spots. For example, if players used Wordle's Hard mode, they would have been able to identify the double 'R' within their first few attempts.
To solve today's Wordle answer, we used our staple starting word, 'ROAST,' which revealed the incorrect positions of two letters. Then, we used the word 'PARTY,' which revealed the correct position of three letters from today's Wordle answer. For our third attempt, we used the word 'PARRY,' which revealed the repeating letter and the confirmed positions of all but one letter. Finally, we were able to solve today's Wordle answer using the word CARRY in our fourth attempt.
