Another new day brings with it another new Wordle. Fans of the daily word-guessing game should be able to solve today's answer quite easily as it is a very common word and contains none of the normal tricks or deceptions that Wordle will occasionally use. Despite the little challenges of a repeated letter or a common prefix, Wordle has continued to entertain puzzle fans the whole year with it's simple gameplay, once-a-day nature, and some excellent social media hype.
No matter how easy a word may seem, there are always those days when a few hints are needed. Before fully spoiling today's Wordle answer, a few hints are available for those who might just need a little extra push in the right direction.
- Hint 1: There are no repeated letters in today's puzzle.
- Hint 2: Normally described as a series of thoughts or images occurring during sleep.
- Hint 3: This word is also the nickname of a popular Minecraft YouTuber who recently revealed his face after years of keeping his looks a secret.
Today's Wordle Answer (November 5th #504)
The November 5th Wordle answer is DREAM.
A very common word indeed, for our starting Wordle word we used IRATE. This quickly got the ball rolling with both vowels in the wrong position and the correctly placed 'R'. Assuming the popular positions of 'EA' in a five-letter word we tried AREAS as our second guess. This quickly locked down the center of three letters and led us into a patch of multiple possible words. Our third guess was FREAK which proved fruitless but did give us a few more unusable letters.
CREAM was the fourth guess and locked in the last letter of the puzzle. With these types of words you could easily be lost in a guessing game of possibilities, like Wordle words that end in 'ING', but luckily we were able to come up with the answer and scored DREAM for a respectable win-in-five, keeping our long-standing streak alive.
