Much like yesterday’s puzzle, today’s solution also features only one vowel in the second position, which could take a few attempts to figure out. However, players must refrain from using common starting words and use some off-beat words to figure out the answer. While this tactic might work for the first few attempts, players must also be cautious about wasting attempts on random words.

To prevent wasting attempts on random guesses, players can try their luck with Wordle’s hard mode. While this mode is more restraining, it does help players develop new strategies that they can transfer over to the regular mode. In this mode, players are forced to use confirmed letters in the same spot, forcing them to think of words featuring letters in the same spot. While this method is slightly more time-consuming, it does benefit players in the long run.

The January 19th Wordle answer is MUCKY.

To solve today’s Wordle answer, players might want to use their first few attempts that contain the letter ‘U.’ In our first attempt, CHUCK revealed the incorrect position of three letters but did give us a starting point. From there, we used the word SUCKS, indicating three incorrect letters' correct position. Then we used the word MUCKS which showed the correct position of all but one letter. Finally, we were able to solve today’s Wordle puzzle using the word MUCKY.
