EDITOR'S NOTE: This article is for Wordle answer #591; the February 1st Wordle answer is available now.
January 31st’s Wordle throws a new puzzle at players that might prove to be a little challenging to solve as it features a double letter towards the end and only one vowel. While the word is commonly used in daily conversation, words with repeating letters tend to throw players off, as Wordle doesn’t provide any additional hints. Due to this, players who might want to conserve their daily streak will want to be careful with their first few attempts or use a different mode.
Players will have a better chance of identifying the repeating letter by using Wordle’s hard mode. Since this mode doesn’t let players reuse previously discovered confirmed letters in different spots, players might be able to solve today’s puzzle in fewer than six attempts. However, players must be mindful of not wasting their attempts on random guesses, as it can cause them to sacrifice their daily streak. Therefore, if players want to conserve their streak and need a little help, they can use the three hints provided below.
Today's Wordle Hints (January 31st #591)

Hint 1 |
to go across from one side of something to the other |
