For those that would prefer a more challenging game in their routine, Wordle does offer a Hard Mode that can be accessed through the options menu. This mode will force players to use a bit more critical thinking when trying to solve the daily puzzle. Whenever a clue is given it will lock it into place for all future answers. This means if a letter is proven correct it must be contained in the subsequent guesses. The same goes for incorrect letters, they will be locked out of future turns. This combats players from just using word combos to eliminate letters and forces them to follow the clues and guess correctly.

Today's Wordle Answer (September 18th #456)
The September 18th Wordle answer is STICK.
For our starting Wordle word today we used our standard, IRATE. This provided a misplaced 'I' and 'T', and a collection of incorrect letters. Knowing a vowel at the start of any Wordle game is important, and our normal starting word is perfect for knocking out the most common ones. With the information given we moved on to our second guess and shuffled the 'T' and 'I' around a bit to get TOPIC. This only showed us two more incorrect places for those letters but did give us an additional misplaced letter, 'C'.
After a bit of a think, there were really only one or two possible solutions and luckily we guessed correctly the first time and scored a Wordle win-in-three with the correct answer, STICK. Another game down and the current win streak stays strong.
