Today's Wordle brings an uncommon word along with it, this could be an easy day for some, but for others, this just might break some long-standing win streaks. The difficulty of Wordle is always a personal thing, which only enhances the gameplay. For some people, this could be a no-brainer, while others may not have even heard of the word being used. This keeps things at a balance of personal knowledge over game mechanics difficulty.
One of the most important aspects of getting any word correct is having a strong Wordle starting word. Words that use popular letters and vowels are ideal and can create a perfect base for each day's game. Staying consistent is also important as you begin to learn where you need to go based on the clues given from your standard starting word. There are just so many little ways to mitigate the difficulty of Wordle, for such a simple game, it can be incredibly deep.

Today's Wordle Answer (September 19th #457)
The September 19th Wordle answer is TRICE.
For our starting Wordle word today we used IRATE which provided so many quality hints. Two correctly positioned letters with 'R' and 'E' and two incorrectly placed letters with 'T' and 'I', this was the absolute best start. We moved forward with the easy knowledge that 'T' needs to go first, being a common combination, this leaves only one spot for the 'T' so our second attempt was TRIPE. This proved our theory correct but did not score the correct answer, this also began the beginning of the end.
Knowing there are quite a few words that could fit the spot, our third guess was TRIKE, however, this was a failure. We followed up with guess number four, TRITE, another failure. The pressure was mounting and we were running out of ideas, our fifth guess gave us the most false hope, we tried TRIBE, and assured ourselves that we had scored the right word. We were wrong and this led to the longest screen stare we'd done in a while. Finally, after five or so minutes, we tried our last guess, TRINE. This was also a failure. To be perfectly honest, we had never heard of TRICE before, and today's failure came out of a complete lack of knowledge, but the challenge is what makes Wordle so enjoyable, and as a bonus, we learned a new word today.
