Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's latest project, "Jax's Studio City," has launched with plenty of former co-stars in attendance. Vanderpump Rules hasn't been the same without Jax and Brittany, but they've continued growing their brand despite their abrupt exit in 2020. There were several claims surrounding their exit, with many believing the couple was fired alongside co-stars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute. Stassi and Kristen were fired for calling the police on a former co-star, Faith Stowers, with zero basis to think she committed the crimes they claimed. Jax tweeted about the incident as well, which prompted rumors he was fired for the same reason.

Shortly after Jax and Brittany announced their departure from the show, the couple welcomed their first child, Cruz Cauchi. Most recently, Jax landed a role in E! 's new reality series House Of Villains, bringing him back into the role he played so well in Vanderpump Rules. The couple is also expected to appear on another reality series alongside Kristen Doute. Jax announced he was opening Jax's Studio City, defined as a "bar" and "lounge," around the same time he was revealed to be part of the House Of Villains cast. Not much was shared about the bar lounge since, but now that it's open, there's much to cover.

Everything We Know About Jax & Brittany's New Bar

In August 2023, Jax announced he and Brittany's bar, Jax's Studio City, would be opening before the year's end. The couple worked quickly and were able to discuss in detail what to expect with People just two months later. Jax told the outlet that it would be a "laid back, family-friendly" sports bar. Brittany, who takes credit for the design and decor, said she "wanted it to be inviting for women and for men," noting that because of VPR, there will likely be a larger female presence. The menu features Brittany's "Mamaw's Beer Cheese" and other pub foods like "Jax's Burger," flatbreads, and wraps.

Jax's Studio City, stationed on Ventura Boulevard in LA, had its grand opening on October 28 – and it was anything but "soft," and d as a costume party. Jax posted that the event was "an absolute success" and shared additional details on the latest VPR-related hotspot. He said the bar features a "beer garden" with yard games, music, and TVs tuned in to the day’s sports games. He implied the sports bar's costume party was open to the public as well, adding that he made “new friends.”

All The VPR Stars Who Attended The Grand Opening

Showing up in costume to their former co-stars were Scheana Shay and both Toms. Yes, Tom Sandoval. Sandoval and Tom Schwartz posed for a picture on Sandoval's Instagram story, where he was dressed as rollerblading Barbie. Scheana shared a story of her own, dancing with Brittany. Schwartz was believed to be keeping his distance from Sandoval for obvious reasons but appeared as having a grand ole time with his business partner at the grand opening. Sandoval and Jax had an explosive falling out in the past, but the three at Jax's grand opening hinted the band may be back together.

Is Lisa Vanderpump Involved?

Vanderpump Rules' stars opening restaurants is a familiar business venture - Sandoval and Schwartz have two, TomTom and Schwartz and Sandy's. Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney are still in the process of opening their sandwich shop, Something About Her. Lisa Vanderpump almost always has her hand in her former employees' restaurants, but considering her relationship with Jax before he departed from the show, it doesn't seem likely. Additionally, in their interview with PEOPLE, Jax and Brittany shared that their business partners were the previous owners of the space, formerly known as a restaurant called "Rocco's Tavern," making no mention of Lisa having any part in the transition.

The latest Vanderpump Rules has arrived, and it seems to run similarly to the Toms' restaurants. In June 2023, it was announced that Jax and Brittany are filming a Vanderpump Rules spinoff. If filming has already begun for the show, then it's expected that some of the construction and creation of the new spot will be featured. Additionally, perhaps their staff will be involved in filming and adopt the Vanderpump Rules style.
