Since the first film premiered in 2014, the John Wick franchise has become a massive success. The series started with the title character (Keanu Reeves) as a former hitman who is out to seek vengeance on the people who broke into his house, stole his car, and killed his dog. Filled with intense action sequences, fabulous visuals, and fantastic performances, it’s no wonder John Wick has enjoyed tremendous success. It is widely considered to be one of the best modern-day action movie franchises.
Fans tend to want to go back and rewatch the thrill rides that are the John Wick films often but finding them on streaming services can be a bit tough. Like so many other film franchises, the series is known to move around and switch platforms from time to time. That's the case again early in 2025, with the films moving around and with the Ballerina spinoff arriving, it's a good time to get back into the franchise.
Where To Watch John Wick
The First Three Films Have A New Streaming Home
John Wick is available for streaming on multiple streaming platforms, along with its three already-released sequels. For starters, the first three installments, John Wick, John Wick: Chapter 2, and John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum are all grouped together as they arrive on Hulu on January 1st, 2025 to start the new year. That makes it perfect for first time viewers or returning fans to see it all in one place. Hulu is available for $9.99 per month with ads and $18.99 for the ad-free tier. It's also part of packages with other services like Disney+ and Max.
As for John Wick: Chapter 4, that is a bit more difficult to track down. As the most recent entry in the franchise, the film is not available on Netflix, Hulu, or any similar streaming service. Instead, John Wick: Chapter 4 can be found on Starz, a cable network. Even if you don't have cable though, you can still sign up for the Starz streaming app for $10.99 per month.
Where To Rent/Buy The John Wick Movies
All Four Films Can Be Viewed Without A Subscription
For those who don't have subscriptions to one of the many streaming services out there, the John Wick movies are still available to be watched. To do so, viewers must either rent or purchase the films on various platforms. This can be done individually or, in the case of some websites when it comes to purchasing, as a bundle so you can have access to the entire franchise at once. On top of that, unless otherwise noted, the films are all available in 4K.
