Aside from 3 Body Problem, shows like Downton Abbey, Lockwood & Co., The Sandman, and The Regime shot some scenes at the film studio in Surrey. Additionally, movies such as The Princess Bride, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and Enola Holmes 2 used Shepperton Studios during their respective productions.

The United Kingdom

Since the United Kingdom was 3 Body Problem's central hub throughout the production process, most of the scenes in the television show were filmed on location throughout the country in various cities, including London, of course. However, producers also obtained shots of Scotland's captivating rolling hills, which can be spotted briefly in 3 Body Problem.

Florida, United States

The production team chose to venture to another spot in the United States to capture some sequences for 3 Body Problem — Florida. The cast and crew situated themselves in the Jacksonville area for this portion of filming, and they used Vedra Beach to shoot various coastal scenes for the show. Hawthorne, Florida is another location that can be spotted in the highly-rated Netflix sci-fi series, as some parts of it were filmed in the city, which is located in the middle of the northern part of the state. It's possible that 3 Body Problem took advantage of Hawthorne's swampy areas.

Spain

The final filming location for Netflix's science fiction show, based on Liu Cixin's Three-Body Problem book series, was Spain. Viewers will be able to spot the European country's mesmerizing landscapes throughout the show, along with overhead shots of other countries, such as China and Panama. Overall, though, the vast majority of 3 Body Problem's scenes were captured in the United Kingdom.
