When it comes to Gilmore Girls fandom, fans still have Stars Hollow living rent-free in their minds. The small-town feel and amazing relationships the show had built make it one of the greatest TV dramedies of all time. After the success of the Netflix reboot, there's even talk of a second installment.
And while characters like Lorelai and Rory talked their way in and out of daily struggles, it's not the same on Instagram. Actress Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore) does not have an official . Nor does Matt Czuchry (Logan Huntzberger), Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore), or Todd Lowe (Zack Van Gerbig). However, there are still plenty of lovable stars from the series to keep up with.
David Sutcliffe: @DavidSutcliffe33 (7,824)
David Sutcliffe played the one and only Christopher Hayden. Christopher was Lorelai's teenage love, the father of her child, and the only person who could understand her upbringing. Sadly, Christopher and Lorelai had a tumultuous relationship and couldn't make things work out.
On Instagram, Sutcliffe's bio says "Former actor now teacher, facilitator, coach." It appears that he's switched gears and now coaches acting. He also now has a podcast on Apple called The Psychosphere.
Yanic Truesdale: @Yanic_Truesdale (111 K)
With over 110,000 followers, Yanic Truesdale continues to show off his life as a successful actor and business owner on Instagram. Truesdale played Michel, Lorelai's right-hand man at work and good friend — even if they both refused to acknowledge how close they were. Michel's hilarious one-liners and judgemental tone separated his character from the others.
On Instagram, Truesdale posts about current projects he's working on, performances to keep an eye out for, and behind-the-scenes moments of life on set. Seeing his life outside of Gilmore Girls has been impressive for fans.
Alexis Bledel: @AlexisBledelOfficial (135 K)
Alexis Bledel played Stars Hollow's golden child, Rory Gilmore. For seven seasons, fans watched Rory grow, make mistakes, fall in love, and move out of her small town. It was disheartening to see her struggling career-wise in the reboot but it was also very relatable for fans in their thirties.
Alas, Bledel doesn't post on Instagram much and is known to live a very private life. With only three pictures on her Instagram , she hasn't posted since 2014. She does, however, still have over 130,000 followers.
Keiko Agena: @KeikoAgena (185 K)
Keiko Agena was everyone's favorite best friend, Lane Kim. Lane was dedicated to her friendship with Rory but she was also on her own life's mission. She wanted to break free from her mother's chains and experience a life worth living. She loved rock 'n' roll, grunge clothing, and living dangerously. Yet, all those things contrasted with her mother's straight-and-narrow outlook.
These days, Agena has been a busy actress. Aside from Gilmore Girls fame, she has been a part of 13 Reasons Why, Dirty John, Better Call Saul, and Prodigal Son. Luckily for fans, Agena is very active on Instagram and posts a ton of behind-the-scenes moments, memories from work, and more.
Scott Patterson: @ScottGordonPatterson (253 K)
As hard as Christopher tried, he couldn't compete with Luke Danes. Christopher had a longstanding relationship with Lorelai, but the bond between Lorelai and Luke was stronger. It was Luke and Lorelai's differences that made them stronger and ultimately end up together.
Unlike his on-screen wife, Lauren Graham, Scott Patterson is active on Instagram and boasts over 250,000 followers. He has a few different projects in the works but he also has an ironic side hustle that fans love: a coffee business called Scotty P's Big Mug Coffee.
Liza Weil: @LisaWeil (351 K)
No one could have portrayed Paris Geller better than actress Liza Weil. She was born to play the overbearing, fast-talking, and assertive Paris. Paris was originally Rory's enemy but she soon became one of Rory's best friends without even realizing it.
Since her Gilmore Girls fame, Weil has been busy. She's been a part of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, How to Get Away with Murder, and Bunheads. Weil's isn't as active on Instagram as some of her costars but her memories are still a fun look inside at her life as an actress.
Sean Gunn: @TheJudgeGunn (403K)
Sean Gunn played everyone's favorite oddball, Kirk Gleason. Kirk was intrusive, eccentric, but all in all, a good guy. There's nothing he wouldn't have done for Stars Hollow. It was nice for fans to see him so successful and still with Lulu in the reboot.
Outside of Gunn's Gilmore Girls role, he has been one of the most successful stars from the series. He's been Kraglin in the MCU, which has landed him in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and the Avengers. On Instagram, Gunn posts about projects, his cats, his travels, and more. He's a fun follow on social media.
Milo Ventimiglia: @MiloAnthonyVentimiglia (2.1 M)
#TeamJess fans already know where to find Milo Ventimiglia on Instagram. But just like a few of his costars, he's not too active on social media. Ventimiglia's portrayal of Jess was exactly what Stars Hollow needed. He was a "bad boy" who was rough around the edges. And as usual, Rory couldn't keep herself away from him. Eventually, the two parted ways but there still seemed to be a connection between the two in the reboot.
Ventimiglia's Instagram profile is mainly scenic pictures of his explorations instead of selfies and projects. And since his days as Jess, he has been busy on the hit show This Is Us.
Jared Padalecki: @JaredPadalecki (5.8 M)
Was Jared Padalecki's Dean Forester the one that got away? His relationship with Rory was deep-rooted but they could never make things work. Even their affair ended horribly. In the reboot, Dean moved away from Stars Hollow and started a new life where he was now married with kids.
As most Gilmore Girls fans know, Padalecki left the series to the cast of Supernatural, which has been one of his most successful career decisions to date.
Melissa McCarthy: @MelissaMcCarthy (9.2 M)
Melissa McCarthy (aka Sookie St. James) has the most Instagram followers by a landslide with 9.2 million (as of this article's publishing). Sookie was Lorelai's best friend, business partner, and guide. Without Sookie, who knows where Lorelai would have ended up!
Since her time on Gilmore Girls, McCarthy has made it big. She's one of Hollywood's biggest stars and was even nominated for an Academy Award for her gut-bustingly funny performance in Bridesmaids. On Instagram, she posts everything from life at home with her husband to work to throwbacks and beyond.
