Though not everyone is a fan of some of its entries, the Thor: Love and Thunder, Thor became the first MCU hero to get four solo movies. With that impressive milestone forthcoming, it's fun to look back on the trilogy that came before.
While these movies helped make Thor a household name, they introduced a lot of other very compelling characters, some of which have had a massive impact on the larger cinematic universe. Everyone has their favorite characters from these movies, but which of the Thor trilogy characters can individual fans best match with on a zodiac level?
Aries - Thor
It feels appropriate to begin with the God of Thunder himself, who is quite obviously an Aries. An Aries is courageous and confident, but can also have a short temper and act impatiently.
In the trilogy's first installment, Thor was presented as the powerful and brave warrior whose arrogance sometimes pushed him to do foolish things. Instead of thinking things through, he rushed into battle. Yet when he let that warrior side go, he proved himself a comionate and determined hero.
Taurus - Erik Selvig
Unlike Aries, patience is a virtue of a Taurus. They are often reliable friends who like to approach situations from a rational point of view. They can be thrown off by sudden changes and tend to be protective.
Erik Selvig certainly encomes these characteristics as one of Thor's human allies. The arrival of Thor brings up a lot of questions, but Selvig tries to reason with Jane and explain things practically. He is also very protective of Jane, not wanting her to get mixed up in dangerous situations.
Gemini - Korg
Not only did Taika Waititi direct one of the funniest MCU characters as Korg. Though intimidating in size, he is actually a very gentle guy who likes talking to new people and has a very childlike view of the world.
In that sense, Korg seems like an obvious Gemini. These types of people are usually very friendly and kind individuals. They enjoy chatting with people and have a natural curiosity about the world.
Gemini - Darcy
Through her earlier appearances in the Thor movies, Darcy gained a reputation as one of the most hated ing characters in the MCU. However, over time, she was seen as much more charming and fun, thanks largely due to her positive Gemini qualities.
Gemini are easily adaptable people and quick learners which certainly explains Darcy as she goes from intern to full-blown scientist over the course of the MCU. Her early attitude highlighted a Gemini's dislike of repetition yet her comion towards Jane in Thor: Love and Thunder was another winning Gemini characteristic.
Cancer - Odin
A Cancer is an interesting one as their good qualities and negative attributes can sometimes conflict with one another. This feels like a fitting explanation for Odin as well, as he is one of the most complex characters of this trilogy.
Like many people under the Cancer sign, Odin is a great leader and very loyal to the people of Asgard. However, he can be aggressive at times and even manipulative, as in his relationship with Loki, which is also a trait of the Cancer sign.
Cancer - Skurge
Skurge is introduced in Thor: Ragnarok as a secondary antagonist though he seems to have trouble fitting into his villainous persona. As with Cancer personalities, Skurge can be somewhat pessimistic which is what leads him to team with Hela in the first place.
He is also tenacious, always looking out for ways to save himself. However, his Cancer personality also leads to his redemption as he sympathizes with his fellow Asgardians and ultimately gives his life to protect them.
Leo - The Grandmaster
Another wildly fun new character introduced in Thor: Ragnarok was the Grandmaster. This ruler of Sakaar comes off as a cheerful and humorous guy, but underneath he is a self-centered and egomaniacal man.
While that might seem like a harsh description of Leos, it's hard to deny that the Grandmaster shares some of their more negative traits. He is a spoiled and lazy ruler who loves to be entertained but refuses to acknowledge the more negative aspects of life around him.
Leo - Hela
As the Goddess of Death, Hela exemplifies some of the most negative attributes that a Leo can have. She is an incredibly arrogant god, confident that no one else can stand against her as she seeks to conquer Asgard and is self-centered in her mission.
However, she also has some vulnerabilities that make her relatable to Leos as well. She seems genuinely hurt by the fact that no one seems to who she is and feels ignored. She also gets angry at not being given the respect she thinks she deserves as ruler of Asgard.
Virgo - Jane Foster
Those under the Virgo sign are known for their hardworking approach and their loyalty to others. These are just some of the reasons Jane Foster fits into this personality type so well.
She is someone who will work tirelessly until the job is done, often prioritizing work over the other things in her life. She can be critical of herself and a bit of a worrier, but as seen with her romance with Thor, she really tries to make things work no matter the challenges in the way.
Libra - Frigga
Despite being the loving mother to Thor and Loki, Frigga doesn't get a whole lot to do in the Thor movies. However, in her limited screentime, she establishes herself as a caring person who tries to resolve issues and hates unhappiness in those around her.
Like most Libras, Frigga is diplomatic, going along with Odin's harsher decrees but also offering a softer approach. Even when Loki attacks New York, she tries to be fair-minded and comionate with him.
