Solo Leveling has a ton of exciting characters with plenty of differences in their personalities, making it fun to see which character aligns best with a particular Zodiac Sign. While the star of the show is obviously the main character, Sung Jinwoo, each of the side characters brings plenty of individuality to the series that makes it a joy every time they're featured on screen.
Zodiac Signs can be divisive, as not everyone believes in their ability to predict. Still, even for those who don't look to the stars, they can be fun to use to see which parts of someone's personality align with their sign. There are 12 signs in total, each taking up roughly 30 days out of the year. Each sign comes with unique personality traits and aspects that separate them one from another, and the characters from the Solo Leveling line up with them very well.
12 Aries - Baek Yoonho
March 21 – April 19
Aries is the first of the fire signs and a sign that aligns with the end of March and the beginning of April. People born under the Aries sign are usually described as being bold, forthright, and always willing to head into action.
There are a lot of bold and brave characters in Solo Leveling, but none fit under the sign quite as well as Baek Yoonho. He's one of Korea's strongest Hunters and the Guild Master of the White Tiger Guild.
11 Taurus - Sung Jinah
April 20 – May 20
Taurus is an earth sign that comes right after Aries, falling between April and May. It's a sign that is most often categorized as a laid-back, relaxing lifestyle filled with peace and tranquility: two aspects that aren't often found in the action-packed Solo Leveling.
Out of all the characters in the series, Sung Jinwoo's sister Sung Jinah is the most relatable to the Taurus sign. She's one of the few characters who isn't a Hunter and is seen hanging out at home or studying while her brother is out conquering dungeons.
10 Gemini - Kang Taeshik
May 21 – June 20
Gemini is a summer air sign that is shown as a pair of twins. Those born under the Gemini sign usually want to be able to do two things at once, and there's no character in Solo Leveling that fits this description more than B-Rank Hunter Kang Taeshik.
Kang Taeshik is creator Chugong's favorite character (outside Sung Jinwoo). He works for the Hunters Association during the day, but moonlights as a hitman. He's a deceptive, manipulative character who displays the personality his target most wants to see.
9 Cancer - Cha Hae-In
June 21 – July 22
Cancer is a summer water sign that is highly intuitive and able to thrive spiritually as well as physically. It's a sign that can be stubborn and may put up a lot of emotional walls, making anyone who wants to get to know a Cancer work hard to gain their trust.
Solo Leveling's Animation Is Great, Now Let's Talk About Its Unsung Romance
Though Jinwoo is focused on his mission, the women around him are hinting at a growing romance that might change his perspective in Solo Leveling.
Cha Hae-In is the perfect example of a Cancer in Solo Leveling. She's stand-offish, but not without reason. She's also one of the few people who's able to perceive Sung Jinwoo's incredible strength early in the series, showing just how in tune she is with the people around her.
8 Leo - Choi Jong-In
July 23 – August 22
Leos are ionate, have plenty of flair, and love showing off. They're fire signs who are theatrical, love attention, and do what they can to maintain their self-perceived royal status. Choi Jong-In is the perfect example of a Leo in Solo Leveling.
He's one of the strongest Hunters in the Solo Leveling, and he's more than willing to show off his strength. While characters like Baek Yoonho and Cha Hae-In fight up close, Choi Jong-In uses massive fire spells to destroy his enemies, putting on a show every time he's in battle.
7 Virgo - Go Gunhee
August 23 – September 22
Virgos might be the most level-headed out of the Zodiac Signs. They're one of the few signs to think first and act later, making sure that they're making the right decision before they move. There's one character who is always one step ahead in Solo Leveling: Chairman of the Hunters Association, Go Gunhee.

Chairman Go Gunhee has seen his fair share of battles. As one of the oldest characters in the series, his wisdom can be seen from a mile away. He recognized Jinwoo's strength before most and tried to bring him into the Hunters Association as quickly as possible.
6 Libra - Woo Jinchul
September 23 – October 22
Libra is the sign that comes directly after Virgos and the two have a lot in common. Libras prioritize equilibrium, fairness, and harmony above all things. Like the libra scale, Libras seek balance first and foremost.
Like Chairman Go Gunhee, Chief Inspector Woo Jinchul wants balance and peace before anything else. He's another calm, forward-thinking character in a world filled with people who would rather fight first and ask questions later. Woo Jinchul's calm decision-making makes a strong appearance in the second half of the series, and Hunters around the world are grateful that it does.
5 Scorpio - Sung Jinwoo
October 23 – November 21
There might not be a better match for a Zodiac Sign in Solo Leveling than Sung Jinwoo as a Scorpio. Scorpios are enigmatic, mysterious, and often misunderstood. They use their emotional energy as fuel, and once they put their minds towards something, there's no stopping them.
Nobody knows what's going through Sung Jinwoo's head except for him. He used his mother's illness as fuel to get stronger so that he might one day find a cure, and after he found it, he decided that it was his responsibility to defend his country from the Gates. He's a courageous, dynamic character who perfectly encapsulates the best qualities of a Scorpio.
4 Sagittarius - Sung Il-Hwan
November 22 – December 21
Sung Jinwoo's father, Sung Il-Hwan, is a great example of a Sagittarius in Solo Leveling. Anyone born under the Sagittarius sign is seen as a fire sign without limits. Sagittariuses are hungry for knowledge, and they're willing to travel to the ends of the Earth to satiate their boundless curiosity.
Sung Il-Hwan was, arguably, the strongest Hunter in Solo Leveling before he went missing. He's at least as strong as National Rank Hunters, and he's one of the first to work with the Rulers to stop the Monarchs from taking over.
3 Capricorn - Igris
December 22 – January 19
Capricorns are earth signs best known for their patience. They dedicate themselves to a single goal, ignoring any obstacles that get in their way and focus entirely on the task at hand. They're excellent workhorses who will do what they have to when they need to.
