That bizarre incestuous kissing scene between the Ratliff brothers, Lochlan and Saxon, in Lochlan and Saxon have unfortunately gotten closer.
Although Lochlan and Saxon are partying with Chloe and Chelsea, things take a weird turn when they are dared to kiss each other. It would have been one thing if there was a gross opposition, even refusal, to the proposal. In that case, the fact that they actually went through with it would have served mainly to portray how intoxicated they were on booze and drugs. However, Lochlan seemed way too into the kiss with his older brother, which is not only appalling but also downright disturbing.

After the unhinged Full Moon Party, Chloe tells Lochlan and Saxon to kiss when they're drunk and high on the boat. This comes after there is already kissing between Lochlan and Chloe and Chloe and Chelsea. Lochlan kisses Saxon and gets a little too into it for them being brothers. The moment ends with Saxon having a really confused yet smiling look on his face. Ever since episode 1, it seems like they've been building to a weird incest story for Saxon and Lochlan and this kissing scene only makes that nightmare more of a reality.
The initial red flags started flying in the very first episode of The White Lotus season 3 when Saxon made a big deal out of Piper and Lochlan sharing a room. This seems to be his manipulative way to ensure that Lochlan and him stay together, which leads to talking about masturbation and Lochlan staring at Saxon's bare backside in the bathroom. As if this wasn't unsettling enough, episode 5 has now doubled down on their incest story with an actual kiss, which breaks new ground for both of their characters and for the HBO series.

There should certainly be a follow-up conversation between Lochlan and Saxon locked lips in episode 5. While it could be written off and never spoken of again, there was weirdly too much genuine interest between the two of them, at least on Lochlan's end, to slide the entire occurrence under the rug.
