However, Jennifer Coolidge's Tanya McQuoid is missing after her death in season 2, with her being one of the most beloved and missed characters in The White Lotus series.

Jennifer Coolidge's Tanya McQuoid was one of the few main characters who returned in The White Lotus season 2 after making her debut in season 1, with this most likely having to do with her being a fan-favorite character. Sadly, Tanya died at the end of The White Lotus season 2, meaning she couldn't return in season 3. While Natasha Rothwell's Belinda Lindsey and Jon Gries' Greg Hunt reappear, there is a Tanya-shaped hole in the hearts of many The White Lotus fans.

Although Jennifer Coolidge isn't around, Parker Posey's Victoria Ratliff is a great replacement for Tanya in The White Lotus season 3. Victoria Ratliff is a new character in season 3, with her being the mother of the wealthy and up-tight Ratliff family. In season 3, most of Victoria's story is centered around her trying to locate her missing lorazepam, while her husband attempts to cover up his financial scandal from her.

Victoria and Tanya have a lot of similarities in The White Lotus. Both of the characters have become known for their unique speaking mannerisms, with all kinds of humor coming from their line deliveries. They are also both incredibly oblivious characters, with them often having no idea what is going on around them. The two characters have a lot in common, making them both the most fun characters to watch of their respective The White Lotus seasons.

Victoria & Tanya Are Both Pretty Unlikable People, But Fantastic White Lotus Characters

Making Victoria A Perfect Replacement

Like many The White Lotus characters, Victoria and Tanya are both pretty unlikable people. However, this is why they are so much fun to watch. In season 1 of The White Lotus, Tanya takes advantage of those who are seen as below her. Tanya promises to help Belinda start a massage business, although she completely abandons her upon finding Greg. In season 2, Tanya is rude to and bellites Portia, making her even more unlikable.

Meanwhile, Victoria has a lot of similar flaws. Victoria is rude, snobby, and believes that she is better than many because of her social class. Victoria is overconfident and unaware, creating some interesting dynamics in which she is definitely the antagonist. While these traits make Victoria a bad person, they make her a fun character, meaning that she is Tanya's perfect replacement in The White Lotus season 3.
