Johnny Yong Bosch’s Adam and Karan Ashley’s Aisha returned to the Power Rangers universe in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always. The Power Rangers reunion celebrated all Mighty Morphin generations, as it featured actors from Power Rangers’ first three seasons. Once & Always’ Power Rangers lineup included Zack, Billy, Kat, and Rocky, but the anniversary special also revisited Adam and Aisha.

Though the most famous Mighty Morphin Power Rangers characters are Jason, Kimberly, Zack, Billy, Trini, and Tommy, the original Rangers were only a part of a much larger legacy. Some of the most important Power Rangers adventures featured Adam, Aisha, Rocky and Kat, all of whom got to shine in Once & Always. Adam and Aisha were not part of the action in Power Rangers: Once & Always, but they played an important role in the reunion.

Adam & Aisha Replaced Zack & Trini In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 2

Adam and Aisha replaced Zack and Trini, respectively, in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers season 2. Adam was given the Mastodon Power Coin and became the Black Ranger; Aisha was given the Sabertooth Tiger Power Coin and became the Yellow Ranger. Adam and Aisha were ed by Rocky, who replaced Jason as the Red Ranger. The Stone Canyon trio brought a different dynamic to Power Rangers following the exits of Jason, Trini, and Zack, as they all had a lot to learn. Both Aisha and Adam appeared in 1995’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie alongside Rocky, Tommy, Kimberly, and Billy.

Aisha did not return for Power Rangers Zeo, while Adam continued to be a recurrent character until Power Rangers Turbo season 2. When Power Rangers went from Mighty Morphin to Zeo, some Power Rangers changed colors. Adam became Zeo’s Green Ranger, also known as Zeo Ranger 4 Green. After Zeo, the Power Rangers had to “shift into turbo” for the Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie, but Adam continued to be the Green Ranger. Adam and the rest of the original Power Rangers exited the series ahead of Turbo season 2. They were replaced by T.J., Cassie, Ashley, and Carlos, the latter of which became the new Green Ranger.

Adam & Aisha Are Part Of The S.P.A. During Power Rangers: Once & Always

What happened to Aisha after Mighty Morphin Power Rangers season 3 is a mystery, especially because she was left in a different timeline. Likewise, what happened to Adam between Power Rangers Overdrive and Power Rangers: Once & Always is unknown. Regardless, the Power Rangers reunion established that both Aisha and Adam are now part of the S.P.A. The S.P.A., which probably stands for Space Patrol Alpha, seems to be a space organization similar to Power Rangers S.P.D.’s Space Patrol Delta. Though the S.P.A. could perhaps be a proto-S.P.D., the Space Patrol Delta organization must already exist at this point in the Power Rangers timeline.

Adam and Aisha were in space during most of the events of Power Rangers: Once & Always. Billy was assisting the S.P.A. with camouflage tech, which the Power Rangers later used to infiltrate Rita's Bandora Palance. After defeating Robot Rita, the active Power Rangers reunited with Adam and Aisha. Neither Adam nor Aisha had ever interacted with Zack, who Adam replaced in Mighty Morphin, in Power Rangers' TV canon. The S.P.A. is now taking the captured Power Rangers to Aquitar, where they will receive treatment. Adam and Aisha’s roles in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always were relatively small, but they may have set up future Power Rangers stories.
