In Why Survivor's Dwight Moore Was Blindsided By Former Tribe

Female Big Brother Players Line Up For A Chance to Compete On Survivor

Danielle Hendricks would be an obvious choice, as she is known not only for her devious gameplay and cutthroat attitude, but for famously losing in the final two of Big Brother 3 due to her snarky confessionals about other house guests. Her ability to provide witty and insightful confessionals would easily translate to a successful stint on Survivor. Janelle would be the female challenge beast Survivor needs right now, where men most commonly win individual immunity, while women are deemed the weakest on the tribe. Big Brother 13 winner Rachel Reilly stated she wants to do Survivor, where she would bring her over-the-top bravado and brash attitude to a whole new audience. While strategy has never been her strong suit, Rachel has always been entertaining on each season she appeared.

All three of these women would be perfect for Survivor, but it's possible the show has simply given up on casting Big Brother players altogether after the disappointment of Caleb. While Hayden made it far and had a chance to win, Caleb nearly lost his life on Kaoh Rong and failed to make a strong showing on Game Changers. Instead, Survivor has begun to cast based on backstory, as opposed to stunt casting from other CBS reality shows. Fans seem tired of the backstory-heavy casting, however, with host Jeff Probst's conduct being criticized in Survivor season 43, episode 7 for forcing too many inspirational moments.

Regardless of Survivor's casting strategies of late, the women of Big Brother are overdue for an appearance. The Amazing Race recently did a Reality Showdown season with former players from Survivor, Big Brother, and The Amazing Race, including Janelle and Rachel, to massive success. Maybe it's time for Survivor to follow suit and lean on its CBS family for a season. Either way, casting female Big Brother players would continue Survivor's efforts to showcase more dynamic female characters on TV.
