A few episodes prior, Ormewood learned that he had a brain tumor. Since then, he has been trying to get his affairs in order and preparing for surgery. Unfortunately, it appears that Ormewood and the doctors have waited too long to remove his tumor as he faints in one of episode 18's last scenes.

Ormewood's vision starts to get blurry, causing him to collapse. He calls for Faith, and she runs in and calls 9-1-1, speculating that her roommate is having a seizure. Ormewood's situation might not seem as dire as Amanda's, but it's certainly scary. Even if he survives this initial collapse, Ormewood still has a brain tumor to deal with. Ormewood has grown so much as a father and a person in Will Trent season 3. 4 Will Nico Suffer From Any Side Effects After The Biological Attack?

Nico Gets Infected In The Finale

Nico and Betty in Will Trent season 3, episode 17

Given that they came in close with patient zero in the penultimate episode of Will Trent season 3, it makes sense that Nico gets infected in the finale. Hopefully, they won't, but anything is possible in the ABC police procedural series.

3 What's Next For Angie & Seth After Choosing To Keep Their Baby?

The Finale's Events Make Angie Realize She Wants Her Baby

A miscarriage scare, plus the other near-lethal events of the Will Trent season 3 finale, make Angie realize that she wants to have and raise her baby with Seth. She learned she was pregnant at the end of episode 17 and wasn't sure what she wanted. One episode later, Angie is crawling through an air vent, telling her baby (whom she believes to be a girl):

"I'll make you a deal. I will get us out of here if you stay put. You did not win the mommy lottery, but your daddy's a doctor, so there's that. You should stick around. It could be fun ... It's okay because your mama is the most beautiful, fierce, smart, powerful creature in the world."

Although Seth promised to Angie no matter what, it was clear that he was over the moon when she told him her decision. They rejoice and tell each other, "I love you." However, the question is, what does the fourth season of Will Trent have in store for Angie and her love interest? Yes, season 3 ends with Angie and Seth happy together. But that doesn't mean their relationship will last forever (or that they'll get married). Hopefully, Angie and Seth will continue to be happy, but Erika Christensen's character doesn't seem to be content for very long in Will Trent.

2 Is Will & Angie's Romantic Relationship Over For Good?

Angie Has A Bright Future With Seth

Angie and Will in the Will Trent season 3 finale (3)

While Angie and Seth celebrate their future in the Will Trent season 3 finale, Will doesn't seem as happy about the news. Of course, he loves Angie and will be by her side through anything and everything. However, one can't help but notice the sad look on the Will Trent main character's face as he exits Angie's hospital room in "Listening to a Heartbeat." Perhaps this signifies Will finally realizing that a future with Angie is out of reach. Or it could mean his feelings for her haven't faded and may never go away.

Will Trent season 4 will presumably begin with Angie and Seth still together, preparing for their baby's arrival. As for Will, it's unclear what his future holds. The writers can break up Angie and Seth and reunite Angie with Will. Or they can let Will and Angie remain close friends as they move on and find other romantic partners in the ABC police procedural series. Whatever the case, Will and Angie will always be important to one another, whether they're lovers or just friends.

1 Will Marion Return?

Will & Marion Broke Up In Will Trent Season 3, Episode 12

Ramon Rodriguez as Will Trent and Gina Rodriguez as Marion Alba in Will Trent season 3, episode 11

Seeing Angie with Seth might be the push Will needs to fully move on in Will Trent. Consequently, Gina Rodriguez's Marion Alba could come back into the picture and rekindle her romance with Will. Their relationship never got true closure, as they broke up when Will was at the lowest point he had ever been. So, season 4 could begin with Will and Marion resuming their romance. It's also possible that the writers decide to finally bring in one of Will's most significant love interests from the Will Trent books — Sara Linton.
