Since its pilot episode, Will Trent has had the same main cast, but that finally changes in season 3 when a new (and familiar) face is added to the roster. The ABC crime drama show is based on Karin Slaughter's book series of the same name, revolving around Will Trent, a highly skilled GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigation) special agent with a troubled past. When Will Trent begins, Will is many years into his job, surrounded by his loved ones, coworkers, and beloved pet chihuahua. He couldn't stay there and avoid his problems forever, though, especially when his friends back home needed his help on a case. So, Will returns and is met with cold shoulders as many are mad at him for leaving without warning.

Christensen starred in various projects here and there, with her breakthrough coming in 2000 when she played Caroline Wakefield in Traffic. She is also known for her role as Julia Braverman-Graham in Parenthood.

Character: Christensen stars as Angie Polaski in the ABC crime drama series. Following the events of the season 2 finale, some thought Angie was leaving Will Trent ahead of season 3. However, Christensen remains in the show's main cast. During the premiere, the audience learns that Angie has been released (thanks to a lenient judge), avoiding jail time and awaiting her hearing which decides whether she can continue working with the Atlanta Police Department. In the meantime, Angie serves as a security guard in a gated community to make ends meet.

Gina Rodriguez As Marion Alba
