Warning: Spoilers for X-Men Unlimited Infinity Comic #38 ahead

Two of the most invincible mutants in Logan and Emma Frost might not be friends, Laura has no problem making herself Frost's enemy.

Just like her biological father, Logan, Laura has all of the original Wolverine's healing abilities and adamantium-lined skeleton, making her incredibly hard to take down. Likewise, Emma Frost developed a secondary mutation in the early 2000s that allows her body to transform into organic, close to indestructible, diamond. Though she is unable to use her vast telepathic powers while in this form. First introduced in Grant Morrison's New X-Men, Frost's secondary mutation has become more and more indestructible since then, as a major part of the series was Emma being shot and shattered with a normal bullet, something that would probably not happen during the Krakoan Age.

X-Men Unlimited Infinity Comic #38 - written by Alex Paknadel with art by Julian Shaw and Dono Sanchez-Almara - is the penultimate issue in tthe overgrown maggot was able to successfully defeat Emma psychically. Frost decided that the weak resurrected Eany needed to be killed so that the former Eany would stop its rampage, and that is when Laura Kinney intervened and began to attack Frost while protecting Eany and Japheth.

X-Men Unlimited #38 Emma Frost vs Laura Wolverine

Wolverine, of course, is a fierce protector of the innocent and vulnerable and is friends with Japheth, so very reasonably intervened on Frost's murder plan. Emma quickly turned into her diamond form and was able to pretty brutally crush Laura, first with a fist around her arm, and then by fully throwing her into the hard rock, seemingly breaking Wolverine's bones and putting her out of commission. However, while Emma briefly removed her diamond flesh to try and use her telekinesis Laura was able to slice her femoral artery, forcing Emma to stay in her diamond form to prevent herself from bleeding out. Emma Frost was able to return to her diamond form and walk away from the fight, chasing after Maggott and Eany continuing on her mission to "save Krakoa," while Laura was forced to stay back and recover from the injuries she got from fighting Frost. Although Wolverine was not killed and was probably not fighting at 100%, this quick and brutal fight may have settled which character is more indestructible because, in this battle between Wolverine and the White Queen, Frost definitely came out on top.

While Wolverine might have lost to the brute strength and indestructibility of Frost's diamond form, her strategy and quick thinking allowed her to take Emma down a notch, showing that even though Emma Frost's diamond is close to indestructible, there are still ways around the powerful X-Men's diamond perfection.
