Despite the uncommonness of today's answer, there are many ways to help players solve the once-a-day word puzzle. Some players have better luck by turning on Wordle's Hard Mode, which forces clues given in past guesses to be utilized in future answers. Hard Mode also locks letters that have been proven incorrect, this forces the guesser to think critically when coming up with the next guess and stops random words from being used just to gain one extra letter.

Today's Wordle Answer (May 7th #322)
The May 7th Wordle answer is MIDST.
MIDST is certainly not a commonly used word, though it has its uses in everyday language. For our starting Wordle word today we used ROAST which gave us a few incorrect letters and two correctly placed letters at the end with 'ST'. This opened up a lot of possibilities for follow-up words and our second guess was BLEST. This guess only provided more incorrect letters and left us stumped on where to proceed. Knowing that a vowel was needed, our third guess was WHIST, which gave us the vowel 'I' in an incorrect place. After a long period of time we finally realized the only option it could be and correctly guessed MIDST in the fourth spot.
Today's Wordle was no easy task and took us quite a long time to come up with the correct answer, but that is what makes the game so enjoyable every day. Some days it's simple and other days it's a solid brain burner.
