A new G.I. Joe crossover event that brought the likes of Duke and Cobra Commander into the fray.
Developer Wargaming partnered with Hasbro to produce a G.I. Joe season in World of Tanks that lasts from today, June 29, through August 23. Players can assume the role of heroic G.I. Joe forces or nefarious Cobra operatives and navigate their way through 100 levels of content. The season as a whole boasts numerous challenges and rewards, spanning from Key Cards and Boost Ops to the "Cobra B.O.A." Skin and T-54 First Prototype Tank. Those who own a Season can unlock additional challenges and rewards such as the MOBAT tank. Ultimate Season holders, meanwhile, will receive the regular and Season rewards, as well as gain instant access to the Cobra H.I.S.S tank and Cobra 2D and 3D Commanders.
This serves as yet another exciting crossover event for World of Tanks, which has benefitted from more than G.I. Joe-themed content in the last year. In September 2020, for instance, Hot Wheels took the wheel for a special event. And Wargaming outdid itself in December by welcoming Chuck Norris in World of Tanks for a season of cheer.
The G.I. Joe season for World of Tanks lasts from now until August 23 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S.
