The highly anticipated launch of Xbox Game holders will not be able to access the title as part of their benefits, at least from day 1. The title looks set to follow the recent success of the series under developers 2K, which has seen the WWE 2K franchise go from strength-to-strength.

For this year's game there are over 300 confirmed playable superstars, from cover star Roman Reigns to current champions Cody Rhodes and Gunther. It is headlined by the new Island mode for WWE 2K25, but players will be able to get stuck into all the usual favorites, such as MyGM, Universe Mode, MyFaction and much more. Everything will be available for players to access from the word go, but when you can start playing depends on the edition you have bought.

WWE 2K25 Early Access Begins On March 7

Step Into The Ring A Week Early

For anyone who has Early Access for WWE 2K25, this will begin at midnight local time on Friday, March 7. For anybody who has Early Access and has pre-ordered the game on their console, you can the game prior to that date, so that once the clock strikes midnight you are ready to go and jump into the ring.

The trick of changing your region on your console to New Zealand will work for Xbox s, but those on PlayStation will have to wait until March 7. From this date, players with Early Access will be able to play every part of WWE 2K25, including all online modes such as in the Island and MyGM.

How To Get Early Access For WWE 2K25

Dean Or Bloodline Editions Required

To be able to have Early Access to this year's WWE 2K25, you need to purchase either the Dean or Bloodline edition of WWE 2K25. One of the biggest perks of pre-ordering either of the two enhanced versions of this year's title is to have Early Access. For everyone else who has purchased the Standard Edition, you will have to wait another week until March 14, 2025.

If you have one of the enhanced versions of the game, you will be able to enter Early Access from midnight on March 7.

There are further benefits for those who pre-order the Dean or Bloodline editions, including access to DLC content in the future in the form of this year's Season , as well as cards to use in the ever expanding MyFaction mode. With Wrestlemania just around the corner, the excitement is high for WWE 2K25 and if you have one of the enhanced versions of the game, you will be able to enter Early Access from midnight on March 7.
