WWE's Elimination Chamber 2025 live event takes place at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on March 1. The show will serve as the final stopping point on the road to WrestleMania 41 on April 19-20 and will determine a few of WrestleMania's biggest matches. The No. 1 contender for Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Universal Championship will be determined in a six-man match inside the titular steel structure, as will the new No. 1 contender for Rhea Ripley's Women's World Championship.

Elsewhere on the card, Rhodes will finally have to answer The Rock's ultimatum over whether he's willing to give up his "soul" and align with "The Final Boss." An Unsanctioned Match has also been confirmed as Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will reignite their rivalry with one of WWE's most brutal stipulations. Here's everything you need to know about the show.

2025 WWE Elimination Chamber Matches Explained

Let's Take A Look At The Lineup

WWE Elimination Chamber Competitors 2025 John Cena Damian Priest Logan Paul
  • Elimination Chamber Match: John Cena vs. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Logan Paul vs. Damian Priest vs. Seth Rollins
    • The winner will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 41. Each man enters the chamber with their own motivations. Cena inserted himself into the match without needing to qualify, arguing that having him compete in the WrestleMania main event and attempt to finally win his 17th world championship would be "best" for WWE's business. Punk has made it his mission to finally compete in a WrestleMania main event, something that infamously eluded him during his first run with the company. Rollins wants to put a stop to The Rock's schemes as "The Final Boss," Priest is looking to bounce back after a lengthy feud with The Judgement Day, while Paul wants to finally become world champion. And then there's McIntyre, who is 2-0 in his last two appearances inside the structure.
  • Will Cody Rhodes "sell his soul" to The Rock?
    • Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson appeared on the Feb. 21 episode of WWE SmackDown and confronted the Undisputed WWE Champion. "The Final Boss" said he wanted Rhodes to become "his" champion, and that he could elevate "The American Nightmare" to a new level if he accepted the offer. But in return, Rock wanted Rhodes to give up his "soul." Rhodes appeared conflicted on the following episode of WWE Raw, saying that everything he's been willing to scratch, claw and fight for all this time would now be his, only without the years of struggle and sacrifice. Rock gave Rhodes an ultimatum to have an answer ready for him by Saturday's event.

  • Elimination Chamber Match: Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley vs. Naomi vs. Roxanne Perez
    • With Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair opting to challenge Tiffany Stratton for her WWE Women's Championship, six women will battle for a shot at Rhea Ripley's Women's World Championship at WrestleMania. There's a chance Ripley might not even make it to WrestleMania as champion as she's scheduled to defend her title against Iyo Sky on the March 3 episode of WWE Raw.
  • Unsanctioned Match: Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens
    • After Owens failed to beat Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble, "The Prizefighter" took out his frustrations on his best friend by hitting him with a Package Piledriver on an episode of WWE Raw. The friendship and brutal rivalry between Owens and Zayn stretches back decades, long before either man stepped inside a WWE ring. And while the two have clashed plenty of times on WWE programming, both men have stated in promos that this time will be different. Fearing that the match might become too violent, WWE Raw general manager Adam Pearce declared that the company would not be held responsible for what the two do to each other. As a result, the match will have an Unsanctioned stipulation, removing any rules regarding disqualification or count-out.
  • Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus vs. Nia Jax and Candice LeRae
    • Before Stratton's WrestleMania match with Charlotte Flair, the reigning WWE Women's Champion will team with the WWE Hall of Famer to take on the villainous duo of Jax and LeRae.

According to Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp, the entire angle surrounding The Rock and Rhodes was a last-minute creation. WWE's creative team reportedly didn't know Rock would appear on the Feb. 21 episode of WWE SmackDown until days prior. While Rhodes and Seth Rollins attempted to make sense of Rock's "soul" comment during their promo on WWE Raw, Rock openly shed his "Final Boss" persona on Twitter and promised something "disruptive" was on the way. How this might affect the WreslteMania 41 main event is unclear.

There have also been reports from numerous outlets about the WrestleMania 41 card still being in a state of flux. While certain matches like Jey Uso vs. Gunther and Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair have already been announced on TV, plenty of rumored matches for some of the company's biggest stars have been floating around online. This includes Rhodes vs. John Cena, Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk, a triple threat between Reigns, Punk and Rollins and a multi-man match for Bron Breakker's Intercontinental Championship

WWE Elimination Chamber Predictions

How Each Of The Matches In Toronto Will Play Out

Seth Rollins confronts CM Punk on an episode of WWE Raw
  • Men's Chamber Match: John Cena wins
    • Rhodes vs. Cena match has been the prominent rumor for WrestleMania 41 for months. While Rhodes vs. Punk would be more exciting, I'm sticking with that rumor.
  • Women's Chamber Match: Bianca Belair wins
    • While the Women's Chamber is stacked with talent, WWE hasn't put much focus on the match itself on TV lately. Instead, most of the attention has been diverted to Ripley vs. Sky, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez winning the women's tag titles from Belair and Naomi, and the mystery of who attacked and injured Jade Cargill months ago. Since there's not an obvious answer, I'll go with the most exciting option - Ripley vs. Belair.

  • Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn: Zayn wins
    • This prediction hinges on whether Randy Orton is healthy enough to compete at WrestleMania. "The Viper" was written off TV months ago thanks to an attack from Owens and having him return by getting his revenge on "KO" feels inevitable. Plus, after choosing not to pull the trigger on letting Sami Zayn getting that upset win over Roman Reigns in Montreal two years ago, it'd be nice to see Zayn finally get a big win in Canada.
  • Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus vs. Nia Jax and Candice LeRae: Stratton and Stratus win
    • WWE seems to be pushing Stratton as a babyface ahead of her title match with Flair, and pairing her up with Stratus to get a win on pay-per-view is a smart way to go about it.
