Mia Yim, a professional wrestler for the Xavier Woods’ show UpUpDownDown on YouTube. However, she has yet to appear on WWE television in some time after her former faction RETRIBUTION was unceremoniously broken up earlier this year.
The wrestling and video game industries have increasingly entangled with one another over the past 30 years. Wrestling games gained popularity as the Monday Night Wars raged on during the 90s between the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling. Over the years, wrestlers have appeared in games outside of the purview of their respective wrestling promotions. Woods and his faction, The New Day, were featured as skins in Gears of War 5. Former wrestler and Guardian of the Galaxy alumnus Dave Bautista is also a skin in Gears 5 and is actively campaigning for a live-action film for the series.
As spotted by in the long-rumored Bully 2 on Twitter. Her comment comes off the recent leak that GTA 6 won’t release until 2025, prompting fans to speculate that the developer is working on the sequel to the PS2 classic. Fans of both Yim and Bully seem to like the idea, already thinking of what a younger version of the HBIC would like causing mayhem in a school setting.

Yim is a Black-Asian American and proudly represents both parts of her heritage. If she were chosen as the main protagonist of Bully 2, her mixed background could be a fascinating basis for a character. The original Bully followed protagonist Jimmy Hopkins, whose goal was to stop the bullying happening at Bullworth Academy among the various cliques. Bully 2 could explore the effect of modern-day school cliques, but also an increasingly mixed population within the United States. While there is very little information about the state or progress (if any) of Bully 2, Yim as a protagonist offers something that most other games are still struggling to implement.
With GTA 6 reportedly years away and a focus on Red Dead Online and GTA Online for the foreseeable future, no one truly knows what Rockstar plans to unveil next. The company’s penchant for skipping E3 and staying quiet about a game until it’s close to release doesn’t help fans desperate for any official news, whether it is for GTA 6 or Bully 2. Yet, it is hard to imagine that the developer is willing to coast for four years before its next major release and not think about a sequel to Bully.
