Morph is voiced by J. P. Karliak in X-Men '97, after previously being voiced by Ron Rubin in X-Men: The Animated Series.
After being depicted as an adversary to the X-Men in Marvel Comics, Kevin Sydney briefly ed the team before becoming the first member of the X-Men to die in action. X-Men '97 Has 1 Particular Mutant So Great They Deserve To Make Their Live-Action Debut In The MCU
X-Men '97 brings back the X-Men team from the animated series and there is one character who still hasn't appeared in a movie but deserves a shot.
16 Charles Xavier’s Professor X
X-Men ’97 Episode 1, "To Me, My X-Men"
27 years after X-Men: The Animated Series' finale in 1997, Morph was reintroduced to the world not as themself, but masquerading as X-Men '97 episode 1, "To Me, My X-Men." This established Morph as a core member of the X-Men team, joking with their teammates by impersonating the group's former leader, who left the X-Men in 1997 to seek a cure for Henry Gyrich's energy disruptor. This was a brilliant reintroduction to Morph, who disguised themself as a walking Charles Xavier in the kitchen of Xavier's School, creating a moment of surprise before the truth was uncovered.
Professor X was voiced by Cedric Smith in X-Men: The Animated Series, and by MCU veteran Ross Marquand in X-Men '97.
15 Jean Grey’s Marvel Girl
X-Men ’97 Episode 1, "To Me, My X-Men," & Episode 10, "Tolerance Is Extinction - Part 3"
Morph transformed into Jean Grey on two occasions in X-Men '97, with the first occurring during episode 1, "To Me, My X-Men," while several of the titular team head to a club to track down Roberto Costa, a.k.a. Sunspot. Morph becomes Jean Grey at this moment to taunt Wolverine about his love for her. Morph again turns into Jean Grey during X-Men '97's intense finale, comforting Wolverine following Magneto's brutal attack in episode 9, urging the clawed mutant to stay alive, and stating "I love you," though it's still unclear whether this was as Jean or from Morph themselves.
Jean Grey was voiced by Catherine Disher in X-Men: The Animated Series, and by Jennifer Hale in X-Men '97, who also voiced Jean Grey in 2008's Wolverine and the X-Men series.

10 Actors Who Should Play Jean Grey In The MCU, According To Reddit
Since Disney acquired Fox studios, there has been much speculation about the casting of the X-Men characters. Here are 10 picks for Jean Grey.
14 Warren Worthington III’s Angel
X-Men ’97 Episode 1, "To Me, My X-Men"
After the X-Jet is attacked by a Sentinel in the moments before X-Men '97 episode 1's final battle, the X-Men team are left falling to the ground, prompting Morph to transform into Angel. This allowed Morph to access Angel's power of flight, enabling them to save Wolverine while Rogue safely escorts Beast and Bishop to the ground. This was a great cameo, bringing back one of the original of the X-Men team in his classic costume, and while Morph didn't have any speaking lines as Angel, this disguise proved pivotal in bringing all the X-Men to the ground safely.
Angel was voiced by Stephen Ouimette in X-Men: The Animated Series.
13 Fred Dukes’ Blob
X-Men ’97 Episode 1, "To Me, My X-Men"
Fred Dukes' Blob was a very surprising character for Morph to impersonate in X-Men '97's premiere episode, as the villain was seldom seen in X-Men: The Animated Series. Blob was previously featured as a member of the Brotherhood of Mutants, but in X-Men '97, Morph transforms into the oversized antagonist to allow Wolverine to use them as a trampoline, propelling him up to attack a Sentinel robot. This was a short-lived cameo, but was a clever way to bring back a lesser-known character from Marvel Comics in X-Men '97, ensuring audiences are reminded of just how big this world is.
Blob was voiced by Robert Cait in X-Men: The Animated Series.
12 Yuriko Oyama’s Lady Deathstrike
X-Men ’97 Episode 2, "Mutant Liberation Begins"
Despite appearing in X-Men '97's opening title sequence, Lady Deathstrike didn't actually show up in the series itself, though she was impersonated by Morph during a battle against the X-Cutioner in episode 2, "Mutant Liberation Begins." Yuriko Oyama is Wolverine's former lover, who underwent a similar adamantium enhancement to the X-Men member following the death of her father. After Kelly Hu's unfaithful adaptation of Lady Deathstrike in 2003's X2 in 20th Century Fox's X-Men franchise, it was great to see a comic-accurate version of the villain appear in X-Men '97, even if only briefly as one of Morph's many faces.
Lady Deathstrike was voiced by Jane Luk in X-Men: The Animated Series.
11 Piotr Rasputin’s Colossus
X-Men ’97 Episode 2, "Mutant Liberation Begins"
While Colossus became a staple of the X-Men's live-action adventures, portrayed most notably by Daniel Cudmore and Stefan Kapičić, the Russian, metal-skinned mutant made only scarce appearances in X-Men: The Animated Series and X-Men '97. In the latter, this only saw him being briefly portrayed by Morph during the fight against the X-Cutioner in X-Men '97 episode 2. Colossus' image reappeared in X-Men '97's finale on a board of mutants compiled by Forge, perhaps hinting at the iconic mutant hero becoming a member of the X-Men in X-Men '97 season 2, though this evolution for Colossus remains to be seen.
Colossus was voiced by Rick Bennett and Robert Cait in X-Men: The Animated Series, though only had a speaking role in two episodes.
10 Betsy Braddock’s Psylocke
X-Men ’97 Episode 2, "Mutant Liberation Begins"
Psylocke's appearance in X-Men: The Animated Series marked the first adaptation of the character outside Marvel Comics, so it was great to see her return, if only briefly, in X-Men '97. Similarly to Lady Deathstrike and Colossus, Morph used Psylocke's form and sword ability to battle the X-Cutioner shortly before Storm's depowering in X-Men '97 episode 2, "Mutant Liberation Begins." In X-Men: The Animated Series, Betsy Braddock was a lone thief, and while she didn't the X-Men team in the actual series, she did in the X-Men '92 Marvel Comics continuation, though this presumably isn't canon to X-Men '97.
Psylocke was voiced by Tasha Simms in X-Men: The Animated Series.
9 Graydon Creed Sr.'s Sabretooth
X-Men ’97 Episode 2, "Mutant Liberation Begins"
Former member of Team X and Wolverine's archenemy Sabretooth was an entertaining addition to X-Men '97 episode 2, particularly since the regular villain in X-Men: The Animated Series didn't actually appear in the revival series. Morph transforms into Sabretooth near the end of "Mutant Liberation Begins" to get Wolverine to engage with him, stressing how important connection is. This version of Sabretooth is different to the one in Marvel Comics, known as Graydon Creed Sr. instead of Victor Creed, though he still becomes Mystique's lover and father of Friends of Humanity leader Graydon Creed Jr. in X-Men: The Animated Series.
Sabretooth was voiced by Don Francks in X-Men: The Animated Series.
8 Rita Wayword’s Spiral
X-Men ’97 Episode 3, "Fire Made Flesh"
Morph's transformation into Spiral in X-Men '97 episode 3, "Fire Made Flesh," is practically meaningless, as they only become Spiral for a few seconds while the X-Men are discussing the arrival of another Jean Grey. Spiral was introduced as a lieutenant to supervillain Mojo in X-Men: The Animated Series, and reappeared again in X-Men '97 episode 4, "Motendo", helping Jubilee and Sunspot return to the X-Mansion after defeating Mojo, having grown tired of her master's antics. Morph's appearance as Spiral was only for a few moments, but perhaps teased the character's return in Jubilee's video game in the following episode.
Spiral was voiced by Cynthia Belliveau in X-Men: The Animated Series, and by Abby Trott in X-Men '97.
7 James "Logan" Howlett's Wolverine
X-Men ’97 Episode 3, "Fire Made Flesh"
While Morph doesn't completely transform into iconic X-Men member Wolverine in X-Men '97 episode 3, "Fire Made Flesh," the shape-shifting hero does gift themself Wolverine's adamantium claws. This occurred during the calm before the storm of the Goblin Queen's attack on the X-Mansion, during which Morph seemed to suggest that they and Wolverine would get up to something in the shower. This moment began to tease the storyline of Morph's affection towards Wolverine, which was cemented in X-Men '97's finale, as Morph finally declared their love for Wolverine, though they did this disguised as Jean Grey while Wolverine was comatose.
Wolverine was voiced by Cal Dodd in both X-Men: The Animated Series and X-Men '97.
