One about saving the galaxy far, far away and the other about crushing enemy pigeons in a dance-off. Every week Microsoft offers both s and non-s of its popular service an opportunity to play a handful of games for no additional cost, tempting them to make a purchase. While the titles may be included in the standard Game plan, it's nice to be able to briefly add them to one's library for some kind of future fun.
Announced on the official Xbox blog, this week's Free Play Days drops include Headbangers: Rhythm Royale, which is on offer for anyone who owns Game Core and Game Ultimate, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which anyone can play. Both titles will be available to play for free until May 5 and while Survivor is limited to a five-hour trial, Headbangers can be played as long as possible within that time frame. Additionally, both have had their prices slashed so if players enjoy the experience, they can ensure that it lasts even longer.

Xbox Offers Two Very Different Games
Lightsabers And Dancing Pigeon Battles
In of the two experiences, it's difficult to imagine two games more different than Jedi: Survivor and Headbangers. The former continues the story of Cal Kestis, a renegade Jedi who embarks upon a journey to dismantle the Galactic Empire and rebuild his order of fallen knights. Despite its technically rocky launch, the sequel earned rave reviews across the board as critics and fans praised its expansive world, compelling combat, and excellent writing, even going so far as to state that it features some of the best action set pieces yet seen in an action video game.
As for Headbangers, the silly battle royale game allows players to step into the role of a groovy pigeon and compete against 29 other dancers to take home the crown of the funkiest bird. Playing like a rhythm game that requires s to correctly hit inputs synced to music, the game becomes steadily more difficult over time, forcing concentration and skill to come out on top. While it may not have a massive following akin to something like Fortnite, it's still a novel take on two different genres with a quirky aesthetic that should appeal to all generations if they enjoy a bit of fun.
The latest Free Play Days is just another example of the value afforded by Xbox Game , the platform Microsoft is emphasizing as a key point of the current console generation. While the company has been criticized for offering a weak line-up of exclusive titles, its goal was to make up for the lack of individual quality by adding a small library of games accessible via a subscription service. Whether this plan has legs remains to be seen; Xbox Game may have been available for around five years but its long-term impact has yet to truly be established.
