Introduced in X-Men #2, Ben Liu was a regular human, before being kidnapped and experimented on by 3K, a group of mutant supremacists led by Cassandra Nova. After being turned into a mutant by 3K, Ben’s reality-warping powers manifested an alien invasion across the entirety of San Francisco. Still in a panicked state, Ben was impressively able to fend off Cyclops’ team until he eventually burned himself out. From what is known of Ben’s powers, he has the ability to alter reality and create massive physical constructs that pose a significant threat.
