Though Roswell, New Mexico leans into the science fiction aspect of the story, there is a slightly mystical element to it as well with Roswell local Maria having some incredible intuition, and prophetic visions to boot.

Maria is the type of character who would readily analyze her fellow Roswellians and figure out their zodiac sign on her own, but would she agree with these picks?

Aries: Isobel Evans

Leading off the zodiac calendar is Aries, which is often considered to be the least mature sign because of its placement.

Isobel is driven with a lot of creative ideas, both traits Aries are known for. She does what she can to organize the community, get people back on their feet (like her drive-in benefit in the first season), and she's always ready to come up with a solution to her friends' problems. In addition to offering enthusiastic help, she also has a tendency to make herself the center of the discussion, though she's getting better at sharing the floor.

Taurus: Kyle Valenti

Though Kyle is a part of some not-so-happy pasts for a lot of the characters in the show, his reliability is the hallmark of a Taurus.

A Taurus is someone who often dispenses advice when friends asks for it, but also helps them out, usually no questions asked. Kyle steals medical equipment for Liz, helps Max with secret government files, and works with Alex to uncover the secrets of their fathers - all because they ask. His helpful nature is only ed by his ambition and his stubborn attitude, more traits of a Taurus.

Gemini: Michael Guerin

Geminis, also called The Twins, get a reputation for being two-faced because of their duel nature. The truth is more complex than that. Geminis are adaptable and social. That might not seem like Michael at face value, but Michael shows one side of himself to his closest friends and another to the rest of the world so he can keep himself safe from any threats.

He is, however, as charming and personable as the Gemini stereotype suggests when he wants to be. Michael also proves himself incredibly observant as he notices a lot more going on in Roswell than other people would give him credit for.

Cancer: Jenna Cameron

Some astrologers call Cancers the "mom friend" because of how sensitive they are to the needs of others. Jenna Cameron exemplifies this trait best.

When Liz needs to blow off some steam, Jenna teaches her to shoot. She's also someone who feels responsible for her sister's trouble, trying to find a way to track her down and help her. Jenna cares deeply about the people in her life, but she's also not about to let them walk all over her, as she makes clear to Liz and Max multiple times.

Leo: Jesse Manes

Leos are generally thought of as the life of the party and incredibly likable. That doesn't apply to Jesse Manes.

The way Jesse leads leaves something to be desired since he tends to inspire his own children with fear rather than respect. Manes, however, has risen to run a clandestine part of the government, keeping a huge secret while he did it. He's also the type of person who can put on a mask to hide his true nature with relative ease, something Leos are known to do when their desire to be liked outweighs their desire to be the center of attention.

Virgo: Liz Ortecho

If there's a better fit for a Virgo in the series than Liz, the audience hasn't seen one yet. Virgos are meticulous planners and hard workers who just want to help.

Liz is a scientist first and foremost. She likes evidence and following it to its logical conclusions. Liz also, however, wants her science to be more than just a project, which is why she's been secretly experimenting with alien DNA to try to cure incurable diseases.

Libra: Helena Ortecho

Though Libra is known as The Scales, and tends to be thought of as a sign of balance, Helena is more selfish than balanced. She is, however, a great example of Libra charm and wit.

Helena dominates social situations and charms everyone she meets. She's able to get what she wants most of the time because of that signature magnetism. Of course, as the second season demonstrates, Liz's uses it for darker purposes.

Scorpio: Alex Manes

If there's one thing a Scorpio is good at, it's puzzles. Just what kind of puzzle varies, but for Alex, it's codes. Hacking and codebreaking and making music all fall under a form of pattern recognition, and they're all areas in which Alex excels.

Scorpios are also truth seekers. Alex takes it upon himself to understand the alien secret Michael has been hiding and to help Michael find out about his family.

Sagittarius: Maria Deluca

This version of Maria is a little different than the original series version. For one thing, she has a much calmer reaction to life changing events. She is also, like Alex, much more interested in learning about the world around her. Maria tends to be more interested in things like psychic phenomena than code breaking, however.

Like a Sagittarius, Maria absorbs knowledge like a sponge and works hard for what she has. There might not be a more hard-working character. She takes care of herself and her mother from a young age and saves up enough money to buy the Wild Pony from her mom's boss.

Capricorn: Max Evans

Discipline, structure, and ambition are all buzz words when it comes to Capricorns, and Max hits them all. Those traits are what make him not only a good police officer, but also a good leader.

Of course, his need for that order in his life also means that Max tries to keep an eye on everything around him, spreading himself pretty thin.
