It's worth noting that Rebels featured a harrowing adventure that forced Kallus and Zeb to rely on each other for survival, changing the ISB agent's loyalties in the aftermath. As such, Kallus became a new Fulcrum, a codename for key Rebel informants first used by Ahsoka Tano. While he remained within the Empire for a time to collect secrets and information for the Rebels, Kallus eventually fled and ed the Alliance in earnest. As seen in Rebels' series finale and epilogue, set after the events of the original trilogy, the aftermath of the Galactic Civil War saw Zeb taking Kallus on the secret hyperspace route leading to Lira San. As such, Kallus was able to see for himself that he hadn't destroyed the Lasats, his role in their homeworld's destruction having become a major regret in his life he'd been trying to redeem as a Rebel. Additionally, it seemed as though Zeb and Kallus intended to stay on Lira San for quite some time after the conclusion of the Rebels animated series.

What Happened To Zeb After Star Wars Rebels

His Cameos In The Mandalorian & Star Wars' Next Movie

Zeb Orrelios in The Mandalorian

Surprisingly, Zeb's cameo in The Mandalorian season 3, episode 5 reveals that Orrelios returned to the known galaxy and continued serving the Rebel Alliance, which had become the New Republic after the events of the original trilogy. It was revealed by Sabine in Ahsoka season 1 that Zeb has a role training new recruits, though this has yet to truly be seen in any of his appearances. Seeing as the "New" Republic is still quite new, Zeb's first live-action appearance in The Mandalorian sees the Lasat confirming the government is very overwhelmed and likely unable to help Nevarro.

Though Zeb failed to actually appear in Ahsoka season 1, he is set to return in another project. The Mandalorian & Grogu footage description from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event has revealed that Zeb is returning to Din Djarin and Grogu's story once again, and this time, he seems to be working directly with them. He utters a pretty gruff "Good luck" as he pilots a Razor Crest, presumably transporting them to a specific job. Not much else is known about Zeb's future after his cameo in The Mandalorian, though this tease is very promising.
