One plenty of tools and special abilities to aid in his quest to save the kingdom of Hyrule from the dreaded Calamity Gannon, from classic weapons like swords to more outlandish implements like the wall-scaling Hookshot.

New to The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild are Runes, which can be added to Link’s Sheikah Slate tablet to grant him magical powers. These include controlling metal objects using Magnesis, freezing water to walk across lakes and rivers with Cryonis, and even summoning Link’s shiny new Master Cycle Zero vehicle. A couple of days ago, Reddit u/brandonisi posted a brief gameplay clip to the r/Zelda subreddit demonstrating how to break down a weak wall without using a bomb. Instead, Link unleashes his Stasis Rune ability on a nearby treasure chest, sending it flying into the wall once the attack's timer runs out and opening up a new path just as a bomb would. While some commenters were wowed by this clever use of Link's mystical abilities and impressive display of BOTW’s realistic game physics, others questioned how practical it would be in favor of simply using a bomb, as using this method requires possibly damaging Link’s sword.

It’s amazing that fans are still uncovering new details about The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild even four years after its initial release and the announcement of its yet-unnamed sequel.
