Fresh content has been added to one of Toy Story’s Buzz and Woody into the sprawling Kingdom of Hyrule and a mod that allows one to play the game in the first person.
Even though The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been out for over four years now it is still a beloved and often played game. Its open-world map is ripe for exploration, even after the main game’s story quest has been completed. However, there are some out there who wish for even more content than Nintendo itself can provide. And, thankfully, for just such an occasion, The Legend of Zelda fans have modders.
One such group of modders has created a whole new DLC for Breath of the Wild. Known as the Second Wind mod, this expansion brought a slew of original content to the game on its release, adding new armor, weapons, music, and side quests (to name a few) to the base game. Now, this already impressive mod is getting its biggest update yet. A gameplay video shared by extended Second Wind world, including Ordon Village, new NPCs, and additional side quests.

The amount of work that has gone in to making this mod feel like such a seamless extension for the base Breath of the Wild world is truly astounding. There are some niggles that have managed to slip through the net, including the occasional misspelled word during the dialogue, but overall the update is still an impressive feat. Several commenters have shared their thoughts on Waikuteru’s video, with one even joking that Nintendo should employ the entire Second Wind team. However, perhaps more welcome than just the news of more Breath of the Wild content, is that this Second Wind update is free. Best of all, it's live now.
Mods and new content such as this are sure to heighten fans' excitement for the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. So far, very little has been announced about the title by Nintendo. Even the official name for the sequel is being kept a closely guarded secret, with Nintendo fearing that its reveal would give too much away too soon. At least, while fans wait expectantly for more trailers about the dubbed “Breath of the Wild 2,” there is at least this latest update to the base Breath of the Wild game to keep players entertained in the interim.
