Out of all the puzzles players can find in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the Hudson Signs have become a community favorite and even though Link can create all manner of mechanics to keep those posts standing, one fan reminds everyone that there is a much simple solution. Wandering around the majestic plains of Hyrule, Link will eventually come across the anxiety-stricken Addison who is struggling on his quest to erect a series of signposts around the kingdom. Fortunately for him, Link has just the solution that won't waste anyone's time: Hover Stones.

Posted to Reddit by tennyson24, the Tears of the Kingdom player shared a strategy for ensuring that the Hudson Signs stand on their own accord: Simply place a Hover Stone underneath the actual sign, and the precariously placed will stand upright.

Given that it's relatively easy to acquire Hover Stones, the strategy makes solving Hudson Sign puzzles remarkably simple and while it does remove some of the fun, it's great for those who don't care for them. It should also work for every iteration of the puzzle, allowing players to effectively speedrun the Hudson Signs.

Hyrule Is Filled With Strange Secrets

It's worth noting that while the Hover Stone solution isn't an especially new concept, it's one that's likely been overlooked by those who weren't playing Tears of the Kingdom at launch. Many early s quickly figured out that the Hover Stone could render most Hudson Signs complete but given the amount of people who've picked up the game in recent months, that detail was likely missed. Plenty of comments on tennyson24's post explain how they had no idea the Hover Stone would work on the Hudson Sign, proving that some of the community clearly overlooked the "hack."

In a game the size of Tears of the Kingdom, there's a high likelihood that the average player will miss some key secrets or mechanics that may be hidden. Some of the more interesting "cheat sheet" finds include small details like the fact that cooking anything 30 minutes before a Blood Moon will always yield a critical success. Another fun secret is that shield surfing along rails is always much easier than trying to balance across them.

Now that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is in players' hands, the community is already looking toward the future. Echoes of Wisdom is the next installment in the franchise but its presentation and gameplay are extremely different from that of the so-called "3D" games. Given how successful Breath of the Wild's format has been for Nintendo, it's easy to imagine the company returning to the well for a fourth game.
