The Marvel Cinematic Universe continues its expansion with Black Panther, which will take the audience back to Wakanda to reunite with the royal family.
Set after the events of the rise of a new Black Panther. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever marks the end of the MCU’s Phase 4, but Phase 5 is already at full capacity and Phase 6 is housing some of the most anticipated releases of the Multiverse Saga. Here are the 12 MCU movies releasing after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Kicking off the MCU’s Phase 5 is Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors) and Janet reveals some dark secrets from her time in the Quantum Realm. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be the proper introduction of the Multiverse Saga’s villain, Kang the Conqueror, so it will be one of the most important movies in this new era. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be released on February 17, 2023.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
The Guardians of the Galaxy are coming back in a third solo adventure, appropriately titled post-credits scenes of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji), who will serve as the villain. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is scheduled for a May 5, 2023, release.
The Marvels
Zawe Ashton ing as the villain. The Marvels will be released on July 28, 2023.
Captain America: New World Order
Thaddeus Ross, now played by Harrison Ford, and it will introduce Sabra (Shira Haas). Captain America: New World Order is scheduled for a May 3, 2024 release.
Thunderbolts
The MCU will see a new team in Thaddeus Ross in Thunderbolts, and it’s projected to be released on July 26, 2024.
Blade
The MCU is also exploring its supernatural side in its Multiverse Saga, and ing this part is Eternals. Blade is scheduled for a September 6, 2024 release.
Deadpool 3
One of the most anticipated releases of the MCU’s Multiverse Saga is not undo the events of Logan. At the time of writing, Deadpool 3 is the movie that will kick off the MCU’s Phase 6 and is expected to be released on November 8, 2024.
Fantastic Four
The MCU’s Phase 6 will see some of the biggest and most anticipated projects of this connected universe, among them Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness or if it will introduce a different cast. Fantastic Four is scheduled to be released on February 14, 2025.
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty
The Multiverse Saga will see another massive team-up in Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton and with a script by Quantumania writer Jeff Loveness. Plot details are a mystery, but as the title suggests, it will see the rise of Kang the Conqueror, and will follow the events that will trigger the Secret Wars event in the MCU. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will be released on May 2, 2025.
Avengers: Secret Wars
Following Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, the MCU’s Phase 6 will close with Loki, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) and doesn’t have a director yet, but it’s scheduled for a May 1, 2026, release.
Armor Wars (TBA)
After being originally announced as a TV series for Disney+, Secret Invasion, and it doesn’t have a projected release date yet.
Shang-Chi 2 (TBA)
After the success of his debut movie, Shang-Chi is expected to return in a sequel, which was announced to be in development back in December 2021. Shang-Chi 2 is expected to have Destin Daniel Cretton back as director and writer, and Simu Liu reprising his role as the title hero. Shang-Chi 2 doesn’t have a place in the Multiverse Saga yet and as such doesn’t have a release date either.
Spider-Man 4 (TBA)
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is expected to return to the MCU in a fourth solo adventure as Marvel and Sony are reportedly working on a new trilogy. Spider-Man 4 doesn’t have a release date yet nor a spot in the Multiverse Saga.
