The highly anticipated season 3 of Never Have I Ever arrived on Netflix back on August 12th and continued the trend of the series being one of the funniest currently on TV. With a fourth and final season already confirmed, fans know they're getting an actual ending, which is preferred over a show being canceled before its time.

Ahead of that final set of episodes and with a fresh new batch available, that makes it the perfect time to find the best of the best. If you don't feel like going back to see every installment before season 4, you can rewatch the highest rated ones on IMDb.

...made someone jealous (Season 3, Episode 4) - 8.1

Kamala & Manish smiling in Never Have I Ever

The episode prior to this ended with Paxton breaking up with Devi and this obviously handled much of the fallout. Devi learned that Paxton quickly had a new girlfriend but her idea to make him jealous was ruined by having to stay home for a family gathering rather than going to a party.

As expected, Devi made it to the event with her mom's friend's son and came to find out that she had a stronger connection to him than expected. That made this an important story as it introduced Des and set his romance with Devi in motion.

...hooked up with my boyfriend (Season 3, Episode 8) - 8.1

Addison, Parker, and Des in Never Have I Ever

Devi and Des had a good relationship to this point but were always in hiding from their parents, so Devi set up a game night with friends where she could have some alone time with him. As is always the case with this show, things didn't go the way Devi planned for a number of reasons.

Drama with Des's friend led to a piece of memorabilia owned by Mohan getting destroyed, which led to an emotional outburst from Devi. Maitreyi Ramakrishnan does some of her best work in that scene. This episode also marked the introduction of unexpected romances between Fabiola and Addison and Ben and Margot.

...had an indian boyfriend (Season 3, Episode 9) - 8.4

Rhyah comforts Devi in Never Have I Ever Season 3

In a lot of ways, this felt like the season 3 finale. Many of the major storylines wrapped up, including Devi's relationship with Des. It was a welcome sight to her stand up to Des and even more heartwarming to see Nalini back her up.

There was some closure in other places like Devi still dealing with the loss of her father and Paxton getting accepted into college. Not only were these poignant moments but they had some comedic edge to them, especially when Paxton had to break the news that he's moving to Trent.

...been the loneliest boy in the world (Season 1, Episode 6) - 8.4

Ben sitting at the dinner table in Never Have I Ever

All but three episodes in the series center on Devi and are narrated by the hilarious John McEnroe. The first time that the show went a different route was here as the focus shifted to Ben with Andy Samberg handling narration duties. That allowed a new light to shine on Ben.

Viewers got to see that Ben's parents are barely around and they saw his kind heart as he gave away NBA tickets to his housekeeper. His loneliness made him sympathetic and the bond he formed with Devi at her family dinner was unexpected yet crucial to the future of the show.

...had to be on my best behavior (Season 1, Episode 9) - 8.4

Devi hugging Nalini Never Have I Ever

The first penultimate episode of the series proved to establish a trend as much like season 3, this installment felt like a finale. Devi and Kamala had a bonding moment where the younger cousin helped her seemingly perfect counterpart be honest in her relationship with Steve.

The bigger family moment dealt with the always entertaining and emotional relationship between Devi and her mother Nalini. The two had an explosive argument filled with great acting as everything from how they treat each other to Devi kissing Paxton to a potential move to India were all covered.

...stalked my own mother (Season 2, Episode 9) - 8.4

Devi and Kamala Spying On Nalini in Never Have I Ever

A key storyline throughout season 2 involved Nalini dating a new man named Chris and how it made her happy, yet she didn't tell Devi. Once Devi got wind of it, she went of the rails, tricking Kamala into sneaking to Chris's house to spy on them.

Like most great Never Have I Ever episodes, that situation was the perfect blend of hilarious and emotionally gripping. Although the relationships between other characters were explored here, this really hit home again for Nalini and Devi. Seeing them reconcile while watching home videos of Mohan was touching.

...been a perfect girl (Season 2, Episode 10) - 8.6

Fabiola and Eve on the steps in Never Have I Ever

Of course, the season 2 finale itself was also fantastic. It hammered home the idea that the best person for Devi romantically was Ben as he was there to console her after Paxton rejected her, though she ended the episode with Paxton.

Even more than Devi though, this finale felt like it belonged to Fabiola. She got emotional with her friends and came to embrace herself as a lesbian who didn't have to live up to anyone's standards. Her relationship with Eve was solidified, even if they were oddly split up in season 3.

...said i'm sorry (Season 1, Episode 10) - 8.7

Devi and Nalini with the urn of Mohan's ashes on the beach in Never Have I Ever

Season 1's finale dealt with Devi and her family spreading Mohan's ashes, which was an emotional day for everyone involved. Devi was on the rocks with her mother and friends but Ben urged her to make up with everyone because she needs them, which was telling of who he is.

Devi eventually spread the ashes and through the tears, made amends with her mother as well. The real kicker came with the cliffhanger though as Paxton left a message for Devi to become romantic with her just as she kissed Ben after he did so many nice things for her.

...had a breakdown (Season 3, Episode 6) - 8.8

Paxton carrying Ben in Never Have I Ever

Once again, Never Have I Ever shifted the focus to Ben for an episode and it turned out to be gold. This time around, the immense pressure Ben put on himself was the focal point as his absurd schedule caught up to him and he ended up in the hospital.

Fans are used to seeing Ben bond with Devi, so it was a welcome surprise when he forged a male friendship with his typical rival, Paxton. The way the two mutually helped one another was a nice change of pace and seeing both grow in different ways is the kind of character development this series nails.

...lived the dream (Season 3, Episode 10) - 8.9

Devi and Ben in Never Have I Ever

After the previous episode felt like a finale, it was interesting to see what season 3's last installment had in store. Fans got a shock when Devi learned she could a school for the academically gifted and watched her go from hating the idea to loving it to again deciding against it.

Devi's emotionally charged breakdown to her mother that she wanted the opportunity but wasn't ready to leave another parent was heartbreaking. Paxton graduating felt like a great bookend for his story, while Fabiola, Aneesa, Eleanor, and Trent all lined up stories for season 4. To top it off, fans finally got Devi and Ben hooking up.
