Batman or Superman? DC Is Setting Up Wonder Woman's Next Lover and It's Not Going to Go Well
I think the fan shipping needs to stop period. It's clear that these ships are more interested in treating the characters as propaganda rather than reflections of self. I was not a fan of the New 52 SW romance, BW won't work due to age gap, and BS is just all kinds of woke controversy. Just keep the trio as friends, and stop making me gag at this toxic attachment waste.
Why Lilo & Stitch Remake's Reviews Are Positive Enough To Earn Fresh RT Score
Restore faith in Disney? The only thing this remake's success proves at the moment is that it is an exception to the rule of live-action being a poor translator of animation, and even this exception isn't perfect. I will always be wary of every magic-destroying retelling that this hollow shell of imagination announces.
Star Wars' Most Underrated Movie Just Got Even Better: 12 Ways Andor Changes & Improves Rogue One
Rogue One IS underrated. Yes, it made $1B and was postively recieved, but after Disney gave up the anthology format in light of Solo bombing, the film was written off as a one-shot wonder. Likewise, the fact that Andor has suffered from low viewership in spite of its critical acclaim demonstrates that even hardcore fans consider this corner of Star Wars as UNDERRATED.
Marvel Studios Officially Changes The Thunderbolts* Title And Releases The New Avengers Movie Poster
Having known the title as Thunderbolts for so long, I don't think I'll stop calling the film that, even if I understand Marvel's little stunt.
These 10 MCU Movies & Shows Prove The Franchise Didn't Die After Avengers: Endgame
Why isn't No Way Home on this list? You're telling me that a movie that broke pandemic box office records and celebrated 2 decades of Spider-Man films wasn't good?
What Does It Really Mean To Be A Jedi? How The Order Radically Changed Throughout Star Wars Canon & Legends
You forgot the Legacy era from Legends. What of the Jedi 100 years after Luke?
10 Star Wars Legends Moments That Still Live In Our Heads Rent Free
This list should have been called Legends' wierdest moments. Next, I want lists of the best and worst of Legends respectively.
17 Years Into The MCU, I’m Convinced These Are The 10 Best Movies To Rewatch Again & Again
Not sure I agree with that, but I can say it was a missed opportunity not putting that film on the list.
17 Years Into The MCU, I’m Convinced These Are The 10 Best Movies To Rewatch Again & Again
Hatred of animals? You seriously misinterpreted the film. Guardians 3 was James Gunn using child & animal abuse as an allegory to call out Hollywood for multilating films just to achieve the "perfect picture." At no point did Gunn actually hate animals.
Zack Snyder Addresses The Justice League Snyder Cut 4 Years After Its Official Release And Says He's "Still Humbled" That It Exists
I have no interest in James Gunn's plans. It was Zack Snyder that got me interested in a filmmaking career, and his work I will always cherish.
Should the X-Men's Krakoa Era Have Been Permanent? It's Hard to Say
Krakoa should have lasted longer. It couldn't last forever, but it still deserved a chance to end naturally. Also, why hasn't From the Ashes addressed Planet Arrako yet? The Arrakan Era sounds like a great sequel in concept.
All 9 Sam Wilson MCU Appearances, Ranked
I'm sorry, but I think Falcon & Winter Soldier should have been number 1. That show actually gave Sam a character arc, whereas Brave New World simply retread previous plot points and gave the character development to President Ross instead.
All 12 Marvel Releases In The MCU’s Phase 5 So Far, Ranked
I disagree strongly with the placements of What If...? Season 2 is too high, and Season 3 is too low. Both seasons were equally strong in "having fun" with creative timelines--and both were equally at their worst when their finales attempted serialized storytelling, especially since they obsessed with Captain Carter instead of having the newer characters shine in a crossover just like in Season 1. I say they should both be put in the middle of the list.
Everything else, I have no comment.
Does Zack Snyder's grounded action thriller movie interest you?
As long as Snyder's signature style remains intact (speed-ramped motion, high contrast, shallow depth of field) I'll be fine with a grounded film.
If you could pitch your own MCU What If...? episode, what would it be?
What if Wanda Maximoff was trained by the Masters of Mystic Arts? In this universe, the Stark bomb that killed Wanda's parents also killed Pietro, while Wanda survived through Chaos Magic so powerful that it attracts the attention of the Ancient One. She takes her in as a surrogate daughter, but Wanda struggles to find peace. When helping the Ancient One defend the New York Sanctum during the Battle of New York, Wanda gives into temptation and kills Iron Man. However, this means nobody is there to stop the nuke from striking the Tesseract; the resulting explosion obliterates New York and sends a worldwide EMP that turns Earth into an S.M. Stirling Emberverse-style dystopia. Wanda is the sole survivor of New York thanks to her chaos magic but is shocked to discover the Ancient One dead. Years later, she lives as an outlaw hunted by the Masters of Mystic Arts. She eventually discovers a conspiracy by Kaecilius to send Earth to the Dark Dimension. Kaecilius succeeds in his plan, but Wanda uses her Chaos Magic at her fullest to absorb Dormammu's powers and restore Earth to its modern day appearance but with one major change: only she dies in the Stark bomb instead of her family. Wanda continues to exist as ruler of the Dark Dimension while watching over the new Earth.
10 MCU Deaths That Look So Much Worse Now
Where is the Scarlet Witch?
How do you feel about Pixar's focus on sequels?
I always thought sequels were conceptually a more realistic form of storytelling--after all, life never ends with "happily ever after" as the one-and-done Disney films of old used to promote. Granted, quality is still an issue, such as the Disneytoon cash-grabs, but I think the whole sequel push should be judged on an individual basis. Who knows, Toy Story 5 could be surprisingly worth it if the story is solid enough.
Do you want to see another Jumanji movie?
Having seen the last one, I wasn't impressed. The series should have stopped after the second one. However, the last one did end on a cliffhanger, so I'm curious to see if this next one resolves the the story for good.
How do you feel about Star Wars: The Last Jedi seven years after its release?
This movie is one of the inspirations for me going into the film industry, along with the equally controversial Snyderverse. These days, I would rather take ambition over nostalgia, no matter how controversial the end result.
Why Disney Reset Star Wars Canon 10 Years Ago, & Why It's All Gone Terribly Wrong
What Star Wars needs right now is a "Crisis on Infinite Earths" event. Legends and Disney canons should crossover and merge to create a more streamlined timeline just like DC did for its 50th anniversary. Come to think of it, Star Wars is 3 years away from its own 50th anniversary, so maybe something will be announced soon...
