Let’s Be Honest, The 2025 Summer Box Office Winner Is Already Obvious
I will be honest about one thing. These screen Rance articles that start with let's be honest have never persuaded me to adopt the position of the writer. The combination of trying to tell the future with the level of arrogance I've seen in every one of these articles titled like this just immediately put me off to the material
X-Men Unveils Powers and Codename of "The X-Man That Never Was," Changing Marvel Lore Forever
It's really cute how in the process of calling out arrogance you display arrrogance as well. It is incredibly arrogant for you to impose your beliefs about the current state of the x men comics on all readers and even more arrogant to think you know what future sales are gonna be like.
Daredevil Has a New Strongest Villain After This Huge Power Upgrade
The Fantastic Fours darkest hero?
This piece of drivel continues the trend at this site of treating the 616 MU characters having traits of alt reality ones.
JFC.
I disagree that kicking a child is something that Abs Bat should do.
One of the, if not THE, prevailing themes behind the new Absolute Universe heroes was "strip away nearly everything about these characters, leaving only the essential elements".
What essential element in Batman would lead to him kicking a child?
X-Men Settles Scott Summers' Absurd Power Level With a Major Marvel Feat
This series is not set in the main 616 continuity, so this proclamation is meaningless.
I’m Convinced The MCU’s Ironheart Villain Is The Perfect Setup For Doctor Doom’s Debut
Neither Ironheart nor Doomsday have even debuted, yet you are convinced of this?
That makes so little sense.
You shouldnt be convinced of your theory without ample evidence to it.
GEEZ.
X-Men Confirms the Krakoan Age is Officially Dead in 'Hellfire Vigil' Special
This special looks to be one I, a fan of the Krakoan Era, as well as an X-Men fan of 40+ years, will enjoy.
But it will not and cannot satisy my wants, bc just as I want Peter and MJ married again-- and Marvel wont allow it-- so too do I want Krakoa back. And Marvel wont allow it.
Marvel its Captain Marvel Has a Killer Weakness, But It's Never ing the MCU
Omg, I just knew the writer was going to draw conclusions about a potential MCU CM vs xenomorphs based on the comic CMs battles against xenomorphs.
Aside from the mini series taking place in an alternate reality AND featuring an older Carol Danvers whose power may not be at its peak, theres one massive thing uned for by this writer:
MCU Captain Marvel is monumentally more powerful than her comic book counterpart. Her power indirectly derives from the Time Stone. The level of power she has demonstrated in her two movies as well as Endgame show MCU Captain Marvels powers far exceed comic book Carol.
(One would think being able to take on Thanos with little difficult, and almost proving able to overcome him, would be all the evidence one need to recognize her superior power level compared to her comic version)
The one caveat to all of this is if comic book Carol can absorb sufficient energy, she can manifest her Binary form. In *this* form, she would almost certainly be as powerful as MCU Carol. Heck, a strong argument could be made that in Binary form, she is even more powerful than her.
Marvel Is Killing Off Galactus, As a Unique New Cosmic God Officially Debuts
Its reasonable to suggest that Galactus may due based on a cover.
Its also reasonable to suggest that the cover serves as a metaphor for Norrin confronting death.
Weird that you chose to only consider one possibility.
DC Is Teasing the Return of Supergirl’s Most Controversial Costume, But Is It Here to Stay?
How on Earth are John Byrne and Peter David considered creators of Supergirl?!
This isnt the Earthborn Angel/Matrix version, which is lost in comic book limbo. They would absolutely be her creators.
But not this more traditional version which has no affiliation with Matrix.
"A Black Hole Couldn't Kill Him": Marvel Is Finally Done Ignoring Its Most Underrated Villain
Your argument that he belongs in the upper echelon of Marvel villains was unconvincing.
Also, how did he make fools of the Avengers and the X,Men? I dont recall that happening at all.
Fans Are Going to Hate It, But Look at Superman's New Mask And Tell Me It's Not Cool
Im in awe of this writers' ability to create a post about something so ephemeral.
I dont believe for one second that this is a major change (or a permanent one) to Absolute Supermans look.
Heck, Im not convinced he will wear the mask in the comic. Comic history is littered with examples of cover art not appearing in the issue or, as I suspect is the case here, cover art serving as metaphor for what occurs in the comic.
Its a mask. Thats it. The weight you give it is preposterous.
Now, I could be wrong. If this turns out to be a permanent or even a longtime costume change, I'll amend my words.
Oh, and I agree with other commenters-- it does not look cool. Its jarring and tonally inconsistent with his look.
One more thing: you referred to him as Clark. When did he start going by that name?
I'm Convinced Brand New Day Will Explain Why Spider-Man Doesn't Appear In Daredevil: Born Again
Youre "convinced" your own theory is true.
Despite knowing nothing of the plot of the next Spider-Man movie.
How much did you spend visiting a future telling psychic?
X-Men Officially Retires Apocalypse, Revealing the Design of Its New Most Powerful Villain
If you think Apocalypse and Charles Xavier are "retired", youve gotta be an AI.
X-Men Redefines Its Ultra-Powerful Omega Mutants by Killing Off All But One
I agree wholeheartedly. If they took out 2/3 of the repetition they wouldnt have an article.
X-Men Redefines Its Ultra-Powerful Omega Mutants by Killing Off All But One
Its weird how obsessed some writers on this site are re: Omega level mutants. There arent that many, not that one could tell from some of the hyperbolic articles Screenrant has produced on the matter.
Get. A. Grip.
10 Powerful X-Men Omega Level Mutants You Totally Forgot About
I would love to see the survey taken to find out if readers forgot about these 10 characters.
Bc surely, the writer didnt just assume ppl forgot about them.
Surely the writer didnt craft an enture piece around an unverified assumption.
And surely there was an editor involved in this piece.
Marvel’s Most Surprising Biological Relationships You Won’t Believe
Also, Thor found out Gaea was his mother in issue #300, back in 1980.
There really arent any editors around here, are there?!
Marvel Unveils the Vital Lore Behind Galactus' Boss, The Black Winter
I see someone hasnt read the first six issues of Donny Cates' run on Thor which, back in 2020, introduced the very Black Winter the shoddily researched piece refers to.
EDITORS?
Are there any???
At Last, Batman Just Corrected One of the New 52's Most Controversial Retcons
Man, part of me wants to get a job editing at this site.
But then, I suspect editors dont get paid much here.
DC DID NOT
I REPEAT
did not
COMPLETELY REBOOT THEIR UNIVERSE WITH THE NEW 52.
Both Green Lantern and Batman saw MUCH of their history retained. There were changes, of course, but unlike books such as Wonder Woman or Flash, a lot of post Crisi/pre-52 continuity was retained.
Supermans history also retained elements of his prior history, though not to the extent of GL and Bats'.
