Agreed. Lux was good, this was great. Disappointing that we had to wait so dang long for a truly good episode, especially since this isn't RTD's first rodeo, but... finally a gold star. I also loved how despite Shaya's sacrifice the entity still lived on 😂 I'm just kind of sick of Mrs Flood and the whole pantheon nonsense though tbh. I understand that it's been a thing since like the 3rd Doctor, but... 2005+ has been just fine without it, now it's leaning more towards fantasy than straight sci-fi.

Major yawn. Doctor Who was interesting when it was all sci-fi and fantasy was barely a tickle in the creative throat, now it's just late on the fantasy bandwagon, the same thing everyone's already been doing for years, like Hollywood's endless cycle of reboots and sequels instead of compelling originals.
